- I've always been terrified of the first trimester due to my Emetophobia and anxiety around doctors or hospitals, but I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by our experience so far. Nowadays we focus so much on making sure women are aware of how hard pregnancy is, I feel like we've forgotten to remind ourselves that that's not always the case.

My partner and I are going to start trying next month. I have suffered with a vomiting phobia most of my life and I am terrified of the first trimester. It seems like all the videos I have seen have just been about how awful the first trimester was. This was a nice change !
So cool I found you! I am 5 weeks pregnant, with Emetophobia. Such a rare thing to hear anyone talk about it. So far I am feeling very relaxed about potential sickness, taking it day by day.
I have emetophobia and I'm pregnant with my second. I've been looking for positive pregnancy experiences because I keep finding myself waking up and thinking "today is the day I get sick." It's a trip for sure.
Congratulations, Imogen! I just delivered my twins 4 weeks ago and I do miss all the pregnancy feelings. Pregnancy and postpartum have always been magical times for me. Stressful, uncomfortable, difficult, yes, but always magical. Glad you've had a great journey so far!

AHH CONGRATULATIONS GIRL🥰💕that’s exciting news! Omg I didn’t know vomiting was an actual phobia but that makes sense. I must have that as well because I get major anxiety when I know it’s going to happen or like I feel nauseated it’s the worst feeling ever. I suffer migraines and when they get super bad I generally get sick and when I tell you I cry like a baby because I am so afraid of throwing up like I’m not even joking I will cry because that’s how scared and nervous I get. Im glad I’m not the only one that feels this way😩🥺I also have a fear/phobia of snakes and heights like nope those two things I can’t deal with. Again my anxiety kicks in. I probably have a few others but those are my main three that are the worst. I miss seeing you on booktube any chance you will be coming back? I sure hope so. I’m going to watch re-runs of your old videos in the meantime lol😂but I do miss seeing you🥺💕I hope you have a great Christmas and a great new year😊🎄🎁🎉2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣

I find sweet that you waited to check the test. My got positive immediately I put the urine on the test.
My pregnancy symptoms were like 3 days after conception 😄 and it was really painful nipples. That never happened to me before or since! So weird.
Oh my God, yes. The first 12 weeks when no one knows are tough. BabyCentre helped me a lot in those weeks. We couldn’t tell people (for various reasons) and it was hell to keep it to myself when my best friend told me she was pregnant 4 weeks later - there’s 4 weeks between our boys.
At 20 something weeks my discharge just increased in quantity a lot! I kept thinking it was amniotic fluid. So that’s a thing 🤷♀️
3 days! Gosh. I feel like people act as if you can’t get symptoms so early but it’s really not true, everyone is different.
Amazing to have a friend with a baby so close to you, pregnancy together must have been wonderful!
@@OneSlowSunday I had no idea that was a pregnancy symptom, I realised after I found out , I don’t think I would’ve believed it if someone else told me 😄 So excited for you. Hoping for more baby content 😁👍
