I love that you and Daniel have split custody of the pups. It’s so sad when you grow to love an animal, and can’t see them again. But it really makes me happy that you guys can still be friends, share the pups, and just live your lives. THAT is how you handle crappy situations. You guys are so great, and I’m also so happy that you are able to help so many animals, and share all that love with them. One day I want to have a giant animal sanctuary like Gentle Barn or Farm Sanctuary, and just take any dog/cat/animal that isn’t wanted

I love you Ro, I know you have a special place in your heart for Frenchies and after the death of Cookie I think and hope her spirit is in one of these puppies and it was meant for you to meet them. I lost my lab in 2018 and now I have a lil Shih Tzu my little fluffball Maggy and I love both of them so much and I know how much it hurts to lose someone you love. Heck, when I went for holiday I almost didn't because I had to pay someone to look after Maggy and I just want her to come see the world with me. It's so sad most airlines don't let you have your dog on board particularly smaller ones that'll just sit in your lap for the journey but I understand. I wouldn't want to put her in the hold luggage she's not luggage and shouldn't be treated as much she's an alive being and I think she would be scared to go with turbulence in a dark and cold cargo/hold where luggage may stumble, I don't want to imagine so I wish more airlines or even someone came with airlines for pet owners. I think that would be a great idea. There is so long they're on this Earth with you, and you feel part of you is missing every time you have to leave them for a week or more and when they're gone forever you feel so sad and guilty that you didn't spend enough time with them or I don't know but I know that it is hard and I'm preparing for this going on a business/family trip next month and it's a while away but I can already feel the guilt and knowing that I won't be back for a while as I usually look after her day after day, take her on walks, give her food, fresh water, wash, dry and brush her, give her comfy blankets after she lays on her bed next to mine as it's colder now and she loves it and sleeping beside me and I give her a treat each night before bed or if I go downstairs for a snack if I can give her if dog friendly I give part of it and I'm going to miss that as before when I went away I'd have to remind myself she wasn't there after I called her to share some part of my snack or food and it made me sad. To know she is not going to be here forever, I know that, we all know as humans even us won't be here forever but I know I have to go to hopefully make better life for us and so I can give myself my family and Maggy a better life and help them. I love dogs, all pets but dogs and puppies specially, Maggy was there for me in my worst times and best times as well as Rex my labrador and I just want them to see the world with me and share the fun and calm experiences like watching sunrise, going to the beach and smelling the great foods we have back home, but anyway. Dogs have a much greater sense of smell as probably everyone knows so they can probably smell you, greater senses in general and after losing 1 sense more kind of take over just like in humans when they lose something and you can ask Molly Burke this, so even if they can't see their hearing and proprioception (so where they are in space) becomes adjusted and much more fine tuned vs if you, yourself can see fine and try close your eyes and walk somewhere (as you're not accustomed to that and don't have other sense or know how to navigate it's just the same way but because they were born with it or at a very young age from malnourishment and it breaks my heart puppy mills and things like that exist or people that ties strings to cut and amputate certain parts *shivers* just horrendous but they grew with it so they're learning how to navigate because they don't know what vision or what to see 100 percent normally is or means if they were never able to in the first place, although i really hope and pray they get their vision back at least somewhat) as they learn to just live with it (unfortunately) but that's in simple terms what it is. They may also be able to see light and some shadows as losing eyesight or hearing has different levels it's not just white or black you can see or you can't or the same as my sister can't hear but she can hear certain frequencies in comparison to the kids and teenagers I go join at events and see the difference myself if they had cochlear implants just wear hearing aids or just are so profound that just use sign language. There's different levels with every disability.

Blindness is a spectrum of sight from what I have heard. I know Molly Burke talks more about it on her channel but some can see lights and shadows but I highly recommend going to her channel to learn more about it but that's how the puppies follow you it's your shadow and voice and smell is my guess also loving the videos 🥰
I really just wish that Joey would do a PSA on the problems that French bulldogs face like the breathing problems the moms that die during childbirth due to there narrow birthing canals kitten lady goes into great detail what these breeds face.
He knows. It's kind of impossible to talk about that stuff without pointing out that people need to stop getting frenchies from breeders cause there shouldn't be more of them. He obviously wouldn't want to say that knowing where Ro and other youtubers got their frenchies from.

I'm so happy that they all have been adopted, I understand how you feel about them leaving because I was brought a stray kitten early this year but I couldn't keep her. I contacted a local nonprofit organization called Kitty Kare and they took her for her vaccinations plus to get spayed. I couldn't keep her because I would be breaking my lease (number of animals I'm allowed). After she was spayed she went into foster care and was adopted. This organization also helped me with my own cat because I couldn't afford to take him to a vet. They paid for the meds and finally the operation, I donated $20.00 to them for all the help. Wolfie looked so awesome as a Taco! Much 💖 from 🇨🇦
How do they see me? As Joey walks around talking and crunching the grass! lol I want there to be a miracle and all the care they get helps them regain at least some level of sight.
I think he forgets that not only can they hear, but also that they can hear sounds far better than humans can, and they can also track his scent! It’s too funny when he questions how they can’t see, yet he’s making more than enough noise for them to track him. Lol! It’s even likely that their hearing and sense of smell is even more sensitive/developed than a sighted dog, as they have had to adjust to the world without sight and rely on their other senses to survive.
Joey I’m so happy that you fostered a different breed of puppies , it was so heartwarming to watch this journey. Can’t wait for the next batch of fosters😄
Delen it is sad after you have grown your love for the animal i agree very much. You see only superficially the feelings but internally the feelins in his heart which is shedding tears. I was never ever interested or considered getting a French bulldog, until you took these babies in. I am obsessed with Mike W. I'd name him jelly bean. SOOOOOm cute
just be careful. Frenchies are cute of course but they can come with a lot of health issues. i lucked out with my frenchie. she has wide nares and is very active. but a lot need nare surgery , and are prone to getting IVDD. which needs surgery which can be 5k plus. and some just dont ever walk again after surgery.
@@nippycat838 oh, I'll probably never get one. But I never even thought about the breed as a possible pet before, when I was thinking about getting a dog (ended up with a stray cat instead).... They are sure cuter than I would've imagined, even as babies.

I was never ever interested or considered getting a French bulldog, until you took these babies in. I am obsessed with Mike W. I'd name him jelly bean. SOOOOOm cute
just be careful. Frenchies are cute of course but they can come with a lot of health issues. i lucked out with my frenchie. she has wide nares and is very active. but a lot need nare surgery , and are prone to getting IVDD. which needs surgery which can be 5k plus. and some just dont ever walk again after surgery.
@@nippycat838 oh, I'll probably never get one. But I never even thought about the breed as a possible pet before, when I was thinking about getting a dog (ended up with a stray cat instead).... They are sure cuter than I would've imagined, even as babies.
