I must agree, I purchased EDP for a really good price and fell in love with it after a first sniff. It's that fresh out of the shower feel that pulls me to this fragrance. It's fresh, little bit citrussy, powdery and woodsy thanks to the vetiver. It turns a bit formal and elegant I would say but you can pull it off any occasion. Longevity and projection is average
I might have commented here before but I'll say it again: The Parfum smells similar to Givenchy Reserve Priveé without the hazelnut and more powdery. It also reminds me of Dior Homme Intense and Valentino Uomo Intense. If you like those, you'll like the Parfum. The EDP doesn't smell anything like the 3 mentioned above. It smelled very floral, light with a little iris and musk. I call it "Spring in a Bottle." The Parfum, I feel is more for close encounters and the EDP for everyday.
I just got my first bottle of NR bleu noir EDP and wore it to work in 80 degree weather the other day. I gotta say at first impression it was more powdery/feminine and not as citrus as id hoped BUT after the drydown i really appreciate the sweet musk. Its got this woody dry down with an almost grapefruity smell that only gets MORE and MORE masculine the longer its on the skin I feel. Still really new to the cologne world.
Today at the mall I've put on both the parfum and edp (one on each wrist) to wear around and test because I really wasn't sure what to decide on so here are my thoughts: Both fragrances are amazing, however I agree with your take. The parfum has an incredibly potent powdery scent which is also a bit sweeter while the edp certainly focuses on the more musky notes while also being fresh. I liked the powdery smell of the parfum at first but right now it's kind of getting too much for me, I couldn't imagine walking around all day with 5 splashes of it applied. It also projects more than the edp I believe, but maybe the powder is just masking the other one. If you like powdery, sweet fragrances the parfum is definitely for you, someone I was with preferred it over the edp, for me however the edp takes the crown for it's versatility, i'll definitely order a bottle. I also tried the edt extreme, not my cup of tea. Way too much citrus going on there, compared to the refined scents of the rest of the bleu noir line it smells like some cheap shower gel
The Parfum is have to admit is very complicated in terms of accords & notes The Extreme actually is very simple (i think the ice notes made it too much citrusy) but the drydown is interesting, you get a clean woody musky drydown

I picked up the Extreme not long ago & is probably my favourite warmer weather in my collection. The EDP will definitely be my next from this line, can't wait for that.
both are good but the Parfum is on a different level for sure, it even beats DHI and Givenchy gentleman EDP and valentino uomo intense and to be honest the EDP and Parfum they smell completely different and shouldn't be compared. the Parfum is a masterpiece for sure 10/10 while the EDP is a unique blue/black fragrance 8/10

I have the decant of parfum, and it’s very intriguing, definitely interesting. However it does have that powderiness that might lean feminine. I’m getting the edp decent today, hoping I can use it more. The parfum I’ll will use on myself when I’m home because I dig the smell. Edit: worn it a few times and I must say it’s really grown on me. It’s a bit more masculine than I originally gave it credit for, so I’d say it does lean masculine but it’s definitely unisex. That being said it’s the perfect cuddle scent, alluring, sexy, and semi warm.

It reminds me of a more mature CK1, but there is a slight spiciness (cumin?) that might put off some people, since it might smell to some noses as slightly funky.,but overall I do dig it. Hard to compare the two, since they are vastly different and used for different occasions, but I think overall parfum smells better, but EDP is more versatile. EDP is signature scent worthy and more masculine, parfum is more sexy and special night.

I agree the parfum wasn't my cup of tea. It was all powder on my skin, linear, and didnt last. The EDP was different, uplifting, and could be a signature scent. Id take the EDP over liquid baby powder.

Michella, I am going to try Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum. I like the other versions of the fragrance & I like powdery fragrances. I am also a fan of the perfumer, Sonia Constant. She makes great fragrances like Tom Ford Noir Extreme & Ombre Leather and many others. She is very talented perfumer.

This brand has great ones like the OG For Him EDT (discontinued & highly sought after) creates by Francis Kurkdijan, Fantastic Bleu Noir Line & the Vetiver Musc But almost everyone would rank the OG EDT as No.1, its a niche dressed as designer
It might become too cloying in the heat. Michella recommends the Parfum for the office (cooler climate control) and the colder months; the one most suited for spring/ summer is the Extreme. It’ll really suck if you dislike it, in the event the heat phucks it up and doesn’t let it’s true nature shine.
I bought the EDP on a steal deal, it has loads of citrus at the beginning (which isn't my favorite note). From the opening to the first hour, it reminds me of a cleaning agent product 😅But it's a great summer and gym fragrance for sure. Once the citrus calms down, it becomes very pleasant and cozy. (imo) 🙌

Not really fresh at all, it's a creamy, powdery iris in the vein of Dior Homme Intense, a bit less sweet though. It stays close to the skin similar to all those designers with parfum concentration. Classy.
I think the reasoning behind this Bleu line is to provide a similar & somewhat Cheaper alternative to YSL, Chanel & Dior which All have the same "blue" Mass appealing lines.

Dam I’m torn between these two. I live in florida so mostly hot days. However I wear suits and casual clothing 85% of the time excluding gym and weekends. With that being said, Would the weather mess up the scent profile of the parfum? I tend to like powdery/lipstick scents more. Wondering if the weather would hinder the overall profile? Should I just say fcuk it and go with the edp?
I’d say EDP for hot climates and it is versatile too I tried wearing the Parfum under the sun & suprisingly it didnt strangle me, but still its not suitable for hot weathers

@@CurlyFragranceif its the OG For Him EDT, it is best to get it if you found it, very masculine ozonic petrichor earthy scent, reminiscent of rain in the city

Dam I’m torn between these two. I live in florida so mostly hot days. However I wear suits and casual clothing 85% of the time excluding gym and weekends. With that being said, Would the weather mess up the scent profile of the parfum? I tend to like powdery/lipstick scents more. Wondering if the weather would hinder the overall profile? Should I just say fcuk it and go with the edp?

I tried wearing the Parfum under the sun & suprisingly it didnt strangle me, but still its not suitable for hot weathers
NG bleu noir parfum is the only commercial fragance I own (and it's my choice, I don't like other commercial fragances like Dior, D&G etc.).
Bleu Noir was made to be different & exude mysterious vibes 🤔
If between D&G The One and this.. which one should I get for a friend as a gift? Really torn between these two. i’m a fan of NR For Her EDT, so I might be bias towards NR 😅

EDT feels more cleaner & lighter compared to EDP, its a clean spice woody vetiver musk scent
Damn, the same feeling from me about the Parfum, the ascent of the powdery is too much and I think it goes more feminine.
