  • Since 2022, Michigan State University's Fisheries and Wildlife Club has been stewards for the peregrine falcon nestbox on top of Spartan Stadium. Over the last three years, 10 falcon chicks have been banded - including Reggie, Acorn and Franklin this year -- to track their travels as they leave their nest and spread their wings into adulthood.

    Oh beautiful, for spacious skies
    For amber waves of grain
    For purple mountain majesties
    Above the fruited plain
But now wait a minute, I'm talking about
    America, sweet America
You know, God done shed his grace on thee
He crowned thy good, yes he did, in brotherhood
    From sea to shining sea
