First half of this video is the history of the B52's. The second half Love Shack live. July 26 2002 I'm encoding part 2 with Roam and Rock Lobster as I type. • B-52's Live Part 2 for 2ND half
Amazing how these four could meet, party, write a song, and parlay the meeting into a long and prosperous career. What a coincidence that two world class lady singers (both eye-catchting, one proficient on keyboards too), a drummer with enough talent to take over the lead guitar, and a born unrestrained entertainer to sing lead just happen to cross paths!
It's morning time like 1:14 am and I'm in my PJ's and I'm grooving to this song! Those people are dead! Some are dancing. Others are like "Duh, what do we do?" ( ^ _ ^ ) Dance! That's what you do!
People can only hope to look as good as them as they approach and pass the age of 60 (Kate Pierson is 60 this year). Amazing they still can perform at the level they are.
Awesome! The girls sound great, though Cindy may have had difficulty this morning after their concert the night before. FYI, I heard her last July in London and she sounds fantastic! Actually her voice has improved and she looked great. By the way, if you listen to the parts she sings in her songs with Kate, she has the harder job, since she sings both lower (Channel Z, Dry County) and higher parts (Cosmic Thing, Quiche Lorraine). I love all their music and Cindy and Kate!
I'd love to see them get another top 10 hit - they deserve it foar more than some of the crap about these days. Love the girls' vocals too - nothing like them on Earth! Keep rockin'!
Is that drummer Zachary Alford there? I did not think he toured at all with the band. It definately is not their regular drummer. And the bassist looks like Sara Lee, from the Cosmic Thing album (she did not work on Funplex with the band).

I think it is from their Bouncing Off The Satellites album. It may be Ain't It A Shame but I am not 100% sure.
When was this?
