I thought at first you were talking about that kid and has dad a minute or so earlier. You meant my goddddd dammmm lolol yeah that moment is my all time favorite in motorsports. Ive been to a dozen f1 races, Le mans, sebring, NHRA, Indy 500 and a bunch more, that was the most impressive feeling of incredible speed/performance/aero/sound. bonkers.
The V10 is the greatest racing engine ever. EVER
Without question.
amazing footage!
Thank you!
Awesome video!
Imagine if indycar decided to use these cars :0
Then a lot of Indy teams would leave due to cost
high rpm and ovals don't mix pretty well (texas 2001).
@@JuanCarlos-tv2hu unfortunately
I was there too! It is the only F1 race I was ever able to attended in person, despite being an F1 fan since the early 80’s.
@@JuanCarlos-tv2hu high speed not rpm
Man how I miss those days
Yeah man, me too. meee too. Halo kinda sucks and the "power units" are horrible.
Mark Schoennagel yeah I mean I can understand the halo for safety reasons but the new sound is just lame. The scream is what formula 1 is, REAL formula 1
God I miss the sound these cars make. Why can’t F1 go back to engines like this
2021 still amazing tô listen those v10 !!!
These are V8’s not V10’s. F1 started using V8’s in 2006 (except Toro Rosso they were using a restricted V10) and stopped using V10’s in 2005.
If the problem is how loud they are just put a limit on noise and let teams figure a way out to fix it. But at least something we should have
Fantastic
what a fucking beautiful sound!
Damn they came down the straight on full blast on lap 2 even tho the tractor was outside turn 1, right in the way of any car that would have spun.
Dangerous af, but it was a different time back then.
i feel like people act like clear video was only invented recently but im pretty sure we got our first hdtv around this time, its not really as rare as people think. i remember when we first got that tv only certain channels offered HD
I didnt have an HDTV until 2-3 years after recording this which is rather hilarious. I edited it on a highend PC at the time which only had a 1280x1024 monitor. I dont think I actually got to see it in all its glory until a couple years after I shot it.
Empty stands, no wonder Indy was cancelled. I miss the sound.
D. 808LF It was practice at that point
Also is 2007, lot of people in USA quit after the 2005 gp scandal
@@mewtwo.150 who cares
17:14 god damn that is f1
:) ive been to a lot of races around the world, that is by far my favorite moment.
man 1080 in 2007 was insane
:)
22:20 Alonso goes wide to the pit wall as mentioned in the description, here is the broadcast view of it: ruclips.net/video/2wAsVO4YiFU/видео.html
oh man thank you for that!
BMW and Honda engines were sick
Nice, but no V10 in 2007 anymore (2005 was last season with (castrated) V10) All cars were V8 in 2007. Also this was Sebastian Vettels first Grand Prix.
Indeed! Being a fellow German made it all the much better.
Heavenly music
The sounds from 15:00 … beyond words.
Yeah dude, yeah! Im amazed how well the sound was captured. Everytime I hear it, it's exactly how I remembered it. When I got home and started editing this, even then I knew it captured it perfectly.
Where we are walking into the main grandstands, that metal roof was insane it was so loud with sound reverberating. My ears rang for a week! Glorious!!! Glad you liked.
2007 caught in 4k
8:56 that sounded nice
Weird right! funny, Ive always wondered what was going on there.
Best section to see the cars and hear them break so late into the corner.
those were v8s. great sound, much louder than v10s but the v10 were more emotional.
was there
It's pretty weird seeing high quality spectator videos from the 2000's
F1 didnt broadcast in HD until 2011, not even high quality FOM videos. lol
Awesome
Thats music... F-1 V10 is pure music
Yep, sure is!
It's V8
@@yudhabagaskara98 yep, still sounds amazing.
Volta Indianápolis! !
I made it to one F1 race...the 2005 US gran prix and I will never go to another. I've been to 7 Indy 500's and going again this year. My wife just text me, she's getting into F1 now watching that drive to survive show. She's working out going to this race, or maybe another one. I told her I don't have time for it. I think it was David Coulthard said on the 2005 broadcast, this will leave a bad taste for a long time. It certainly has for me.
Yep that race sucked. Blame michelin and boycott that instead.
@@markschoennagel5076 Here we are in Austin. I took your advice 🇺🇸😉
@@Manbunmen65 What advice was that? Looked like a fun race weekend, I went to the 2nd year they raced at COTA. Nice to see how the city has embraced it!
at 21:15 when theyre braking its like theyre dropping out of hyperspace
Never noticed it like that but sure as hell does! lol
F1 should be in Indianapolis. And with 19,000 rpms.
Imagine the V10's...
could hear them from my grandmas house
AWWWWWWWWWWWWSOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That made me laugh! Thanks man!
@@markschoennagel5076 your work is tremendous man. To have got the Hamilton Alonso duel is magical
