The saliva is slabbering Choga...thankyou for sharing your exquisite banquet..all vegetarian too..your Dad is looking great..after such a long journey..superb❤
@ultimatemeaning this was honestly good training for my misophonia. I was able to sharpen my focus on your voice and find it spatially in the soundscape, though it did help a lot that everyone else was speaking a language I don't understand.
Thanks friend. We tend to think that travel is so important in the west, but in the dharma the ability to stay put is seen to be much more valuable 🙏🙏🙏
Very intimate, like I was at the table, thank you. It did have me go into the fridge at a certain point to get some snack. So this is "temple food" now I see why you are all sleeping in upright position; it's to get to breakfast first Secretly hoping that you have a Korean yakuza-like nephew that will take you out to get some "real food" and we get to see you end up at a McDonalds
This was so beautifully human. Thank you for allowing us to experience this meal and this place with you. And for describing all the ingredients. It's such a different style of eating, compared to... white folk meals 😅 I'm an autistic American and I care a lot about being able to taste and feel each ingredient separately, even if they are mixed together. I love that the style of your meal was to continually build your bowl, and to be able to construct each individual bite. I will have to find something like this near me. It's a soothing way to eat. By the way, I've been working on eating more regularly and trying to eat enough. So I came home, and put together a plate with fruits, small tomatoes, cheese, and bread. This is how I like to eat. A complimentary spread of different things that agree with each other. I easily and comfortably ate everything on my plate while watching this video. It was very soothing. Thank you again. 🩵✌️
@@maryfreund4957 Dim sum is usually just steamed and fried individual things, while banchan can be anything. It's side dishes but generally in greater quantity than the western appetizers. Generally eaten with rice and in most restaurants it's refillable and free.
Glad you enjoyed it! Reward after long flight, the best part of travelling. Temple foods are actually very good, hope more people give them a chance. I saw many restaurants closed due to loss.
@@ultimatemeaning 😂 I have not seen anyone without gaining weight. Your father’s friends, and relatives will line up to treat you with all kinds of sightseeing, and foods! Two weeks probably is too short to catch up.
nice to see you enjoy all that delicious vegetarian banquet. i was relieved to see it was not a real mukbang as i had horrors thinking of you indulging in ludicrous amounts of food like they do on tiktok. 😂😂
I have to say I don't even know what Mukbang is (don't think I ever saw it?) Oh yeah, our lama showed us a TikTok of a woman cooking insects alive and eating them. I guess that is Mukbang?♥♥♥
if I have a choice, I'd mostly eat vegetarian food. the variety and nutritional values here are not enough if I don't eat meat. it's suck when you're poor and stuck in the concrete forest.
@dreamingacacia I'm sure if it's an option for you, you're already doing it. But I tend to only shop for ingredients, and I like eating a lot of fresh veg and fruit or I get depressed as hell. It's just how my body is. Anyway my solution that has allowed me to eat the way I need, is going to a spot that reliably has a really good discount produce rack. It's a little random market but I go there specifically for that rack because it's 1/6th the amount it would cost at the supermarket, and it tends to be good quality and not spoil quickly. I just found that place by accident years ago, but it's allowed me to be healthier on low funds. And learning what I can forage that grows natives in the greenspaces in my city. Careful to avoid eating from places by a road or manicured lawn area, though. Too much pollution directly absorbed in those spots. Stay regulated 🩵✌️

nice. my appreciation for culinary arts didn't develop until later in life. Perhaps its the enjoyment of good food that keeps me coming back :).
I became a vegetarian when quite young and in those days it wad difficult so I had to learn to cook 🙏🙏🙏

@setonix9151 is this kind of like the Korean equivalent to dim sum 🤔
