    My friend you're the best. I had no experience with espresso machines that aren't capsule ones and following your videos, I managed to get a 1:2 ratio between 25-30 seconds at 9 bars pressure in my third coffee with my new Anita. Now I just have to play around with different beans to find one I really like

    insane termostability!!! thanks a lot my friend!!! damn i had brewed a coffe more than a year and was so dissapointed while watching on PID control degrees at the moment. All this time i thought that machine is very unstable according temperature brewing!
    And nobody tells about that! Even official distibutor at Moscow, nobody on all russian youtube!
    SO thankful to you!

    So if i increase the D factor i wont see a drop in steaming from 140 to 110? I always lose the vortex when i drops quickly from 120 to 117 to 110.

Grazie mille

    Hello.
    I have a Lelit Anna pid and when steaming if I let boiler temperature go over 125 and then start steaming temperature goes all the way to 132 and then drops to 114 then builds up again to 120 or so. All this process makes the steaming really slow and tedious. If I wait till the machine goes to 135 and then start steaming the moment I let steam out pressure drops to 114 and then builds up again as I explained above.
    Issue is that anything under 120 pressure has no steaming power and steaming milk takes long time.
    My question is: Is this normal behavior or am I using the machine wrong?
    Thanks and sorry for long message.

    Hi, thank you for the great video. I have the Lelit Anita pl042 TEMD under one years old. Recently I’ve had some issues with the machine, when the extraction starts, the coffee shoots out in a thicker stream in the first 1-2 seconds and then slows down to a trickle. I have a Lelit William grinder which I’m very pleased with, and know for certain the grinding isn’t the issue. I’m also very consistent with tamping. I am thinking the issue may be with the water pump or OPV valve, and wondering if you’ve seen anything similar happen or if you could please advise regarding this problem? Thank you.

    Oh wow, I thought that my Anna's temperature stability is not too great... But watching this, i'm very impressed! :) Please tell me, what's the point of having so big offset as a factory default between the desired temperature (what I set on the PID) and what really comes out? Why not make the difference zero as a factory default, why do I have to offset "5"?
    Thanks for the great video!

    • @lelitinsider2977
      @lelitinsider2977  3 года назад +3

      on the display you'll set the boiler temperature,
      the water erogation temperature is 3 _5° c less than or you sett the offsett or you increase the temperature on the display!

      @@lelitinsider2977 Thanks. I have a technical question, i hope you don't mind. :) The probe of the PID is measuring the boiler water and the heater is also in the boiler, I assume. When the extraction starts, room temperature water enters the boiler and it starts to cool it down. But the water at the grouphead exit is constant e.g. 94 C. How can it be? How does the water heat up if the heater is far away (in the boiler) and the water which leaves the boiler is e.g. 84 C?
      If it is due to high temperature resistant material of the grouphead, and the preheated grouphead heats the water higher than the boiler, I would still expect a constant decrease as the boiler water cools down. But measured at the grouphead the water temp even increases some times on the video.

      @@MrDecato The probe is close to the inlet at the top of the boiler and measures the water temp. The grouphead outlet is at the bottom, close to the heating element. Some PID's measure the temp of the boiler itself not the water so those don't show a big drop in temperature. But regardless Anna has a stable output which is what matters.

    Hello and thank you for the interesting video.
    But I don't really understand the benefit of the offset setting. With F.04 = 0 we see the boiler temperature in the display, with F.04 = 5 we see the boiler temperature - 5 degrees. It's not always the brewing temperature. The brewing temperature is more constant than the boiler temperature and the difference between the two changes. Or am I thinking wrong?

    • @lelitinsider2977
      @lelitinsider2977  3 года назад +2

      with the factory settings, the temperature of the coffee is about 5° lower than the temperature set on the display.
      to align the temperature shown on the display with the temperature of the coffee, you must modify F04

    • @frankh5569
      @frankh5569 3 года назад +1

      @@lelitinsider2977 If "to align" does not mean: I see the brewing temperature. But I see the boiler temperature minus 5 as an approximate brewing temperature. Then I understood.

    It's nice to have this information about how to set the pid for better temperatoor monitoring, but it would have been better to have the right settings already loaded as factory defaults. Not everyone has that kind of temperatoor probe to calibrate the machine at home. This is practically useless for the end user.
