For those saying that he is cheating, if you use rear attack but your inventory is empty, it will use the last weapon you used. Thats why he can spam the lighting attack

I thought he was cheating as well, but I realized that he was just exploiting glitches and bugs. Just like using proximity bombs to launch your opponent off track. Exploiting glitches is legal in speedrun
so if i wanna spam lighting, i have use all special and many rear attack until empty, right?

I always knew the proximity trick as a child but seeing the lighting rear attack trick has opened my eyes to a new light and just makes me wanna find my copy to boot the game and try that shit myself, shit looks insane

@Skap Kof Gonzeilz On neon city and a few stages if you lay down 3 proximities and a remote, you can shield, jump, blow yourself into the air and land inside the buildings. You can shoot through the walls out towards people, but no ones shots pass through walls towards you, excluding certain specials. Also if you take certain portals and lay down 3 prox, anyone who portals into them will be blown off the map and killed instantly

@@Mrbuttonsup I remember figuring that out for myself when I was a kid. I was curious if I could blow myself up over the walls and get inside them and sure enough you could. 😁
So much nostalgia! I remember having a blast using the rear attack glitch and Calypso's Nuke special, you can spam them like crazy. You should try a Calypso Nuke only run, it's real fun aiming backwards.

I remember playing this and being SUPER pissed off that no matter what you did, you'd get owned by Sweet Tooth at the end (Long before I worked out how to do shields and things). So I collected all the mines I could and put them at the top of that portal that leads to the rollercoaster. When he flew off the level I was like "WHAT?!" and from that point on I used the mine trick wherever I found a portal. Good times
Great run dude! Really like this game. A really fun and enjoyable car combat game.

kinda wish the music was working, thats one of the most memorable parts of this game.

Ничего себе) Вообще крутое прохождение, даже фановое) Я эту часть тоже любил проходить, но про фичу с rear не знал и старался или заспамить 2 или 3 молниями (2 максимум в инвентаре, проюзал и тут же взял 3), или заморозить и скинуть в out of bounds ну или по классике: 3 мины под тп)))

I don't care what anyone says or thinks negatively about this game. Twisted Metal 4 was a damn good game IMO, and anyone who thinks otherwise can go suck an egg and pound sand. This game frickin' ROCKED back in the day, and is STILL fun to play, even after all these years later.

So what exactly is the lightning glitch? Makes it super easy.
So in TM4 and I'm pretty sure TM3 as well, you can infinitely use the last weapon you had with rear attack as long as you have the energy for it. It's why you see people either not pick up any weapons or use all of their weapons, saving the weapon they want to use for last as they can just repeatedly use it with rear attack.
How do u use rear attack? Never knew how to use that or the massive attack
Учитывая мощности psx как разработчики вообще создавали такие игры, в часности студия 989, dreamcast игры портировала с psx беда в том что не те игры портировали, консоли иногда покупают из за эксклюзивов.
Я видел разные вариации TW4, ее дорабатывали
TW4 сам по себе ремейк и переосмысление прошлых серий по факту это новая игра.
Вариации ТМ4? Типа вигиланта или рок-трипа 2012?

Всё жду крутого прохождения без багов, читов и прочего. Дождусь ли... На высоком уровне сложности сложно пройти?
Пока без багов (без мин в телепорте, бесконечного оружие за счет энергии) только игра против свиточа (в видеозаписях есть). На высоком сложно.. когда по тебе все летит, то сбивает с толку
Понятно, ну ждём тогда, а то хак TM3 на чудовищном уровне сложности люди проходят, тут оригинал же, не должно быть очень уж сложно для профессионала.
Речь же не идёт о прохождении обязательно без потери жизней, это не важно для высокого режима сложности, можно хоть на последней пройти. :)

А почему не используешь 4х мины? Это вполне реально, хоть и кажется невозможным. Вполне вероятно ты сэкономишь еще пару секунд убивая "микробласта". Осталось найти короткий маршрут до мин в The Bed Room пока спавнится босс или тупят соперники.

Deplete all your ammunition aside from your lightning attack, then spam rear attack. There's a glitch in this game where you can spam the last weapon you had in your inventory with the rear attack.

not really its called glitch. cheat is if you do something to the game outside of it tweak the code or something.
if you looking at speedrun in general theres a normal speedrun (fine with glitch) or glitchless speed run (no glitch or bug abuse)

Speedruns aren't about skill. Just getting the game done fast.
Only other thing you can look for is speedruns set on the higher difficulties in the glitchless catagory. You're complaint is null and void.
