I was one out 😂😂 I can't believe out of all those OG 360 consoles, none of them had the RROD. Good luck with the JTAG/RGH stuff....I've got one myself but I'd love a back up.... definitely keep me updated how this goes mate.
I'm so surprised that none had rrod on them, strange as phat models are known for it. I'll keep you posted on the mods, they will be ideal second consoles for people as I won't have cables just console only.
My guess is 5 of 6 The slim has a very small chance of having a fatal failure, so that’s an easy guess And all the fat ones while being infamous for failing, they are in a much better state now since most of the faulty ones have either found their new homes in the junkyard or were sent in to get a motherboard replacement from microsoft to fix the issue altogether, but since this is a untested lot, there is bound to be at least one that is as useful as a door stopper. Edit: My guess was correct, I’ll be requesting my sticker now

You got a lot of Xbox 360 "All Digital" consoles. I've actually never had a bad drive in a 360 (I've owned about 10 consoles). I have had one bad drive in an OG Xbox though. I seriously would've guessed heat issues with the Fat models and a drive issue on the slim. Very strange that it was the opposite.
The ones with the white dvd drive plate were the Arcade/Core edition on the system, whilst the one with the silver tray were the premium consoles. I’m gonna go for four of the six being good to go :).
If you got one of the Xbox 360s with the white disc tray lip after 2008 chances are you got the arcade model which in my opinion is the best version that there is due to it being the easiest to take apart and work on, hence no touch buttons- as well as the fact that it had the upgraded computer chips that would not read ring- I still have mine to this very day and it still works!! Although I took a limited edition Halo shell and painted it black to where it basically looks like the elite version but I painted it and it looks good!!

Hah, i was hoping to do the same video in the near future. I have two OG Xbox'es which are also a gamble concerning their working order. I just need to find an OG power brick though.
@@GoodwinsPlace Yes, the big gray block one. I've been searching for those, maybe getting one from China. But they arent sold seperately. I think its cheaper to just buy another second hand OG from someone for a few bucks and use that one.

the Jasper and Kronos Phat 360s rarely fail and are ideal for people who prefer the phat case
They are pretty solid. I have a bunch of RGH mods to do on them. But think that's even moved on since I bought them.

the light staying green means it's trying to access something on POST but the drive is refusing (this means it can't even red ring)
