The judges brother represented Chris Albert for a DUI where he killed someone and injured two. Left the scene of the accident and only served 6 months. She should not have been on this case and she wasn’t supposed to be on this case to begin with, she handpicked this case.

@@sunshine22723 Me and my friends have been watching this trial from Greece. I've met people from Canada, Norway, Germany and other european countries through this case. So, please take your head out of the sand before you speak. (needless to say we support Karen Read's innocence 100% and want justice for John!)

This judge was differential to the prosecution and insulting to the defense multiple times, she has bias. I do believe that she has a leaning to protect the MC Albert crime family
Shown by how she falsely ruled that the door has been opened for the self-pitying McCabes to tell hos much they have been harassed, all the while so many RUclipsrs were actually harassed and threatened.
We all saw the town hall meeting where so many came forward about anonymous letters received threatening their families. Canton is clearly run by threats. They just can't stand that ordinary people are fighting back.
Bev was a terrible judge on the bench and should have recused herself but she wouldn't have done that because she was doing Shady things already and needed to be there to make that happen. She allowed in evidence that had no chain of custody which was the vast majority of the prosecution's evidence. Jackson wanted to appeal for a new judge having nothing to do with her Seaside Cottage and everything to do with her allowing evidence in that was unsubstantiated. Of course locals are going to say she did great. They fail to see what she did in pretrial motions and how dirty she treated the defense the defense also tried to get a special prosecutor and Bev overrule that as well. But assuming they do I believe the defense will do what they can to get a different judge on the bench . The Brian Walsh case may see a lot of trouble before it ever gets there because they have Proctor to worry about just as the Karen Reed case does.
What is very very sad is regardless of the situation with Karen Reed who did not kill John O'Keefe with her car, thanks to Proctor and the others who followed his lead no justice will be found now there's nothing left to investigate it's very very sad that when he chose to do his buddies a solid and protect them he kept the real killers of John O'Keefe I really don't think anyone set out to murder that man but once a significant amount of damage was done I feel they had no choice I don't know who killed him or that anyone specifically did. But there are a lot of unanswered questions such as where is the rest of the cocktail glass so much significance was placed on that stupid glass yet no one found the remainder of it. They tried to replace it with a glass that did not match and sprinkle it on the bumper but of course the lab determined quickly it did not match the cocktail glass. And to date the question has not been answered among many others! If they do retry, it will be a completely different trial I imagine. If the defense can keep out the evidence that has no chain of custody they won't have to address any of that nonsense will. We all have to stay tuned to see what happens next but I genuinely do not believe they will retry this case.
I’m holding out a minuscule amount of hope that the FBI has the information needed to prosecute the real killer(s). I agree…they will not retry the case. They got what they wanted.

Vengeance is not justice. Cannone is not well qualified as exemplified by this trial. Sad since she has so much experience. She really did seem corrupt.

@@frienda315 I don’t know what trial you watched, but 2 medical examiners agreed the injuries weren’t caused by a car accident. Also, the independent accident reconstructionist hired by the FBI said there was no car accident. If there was no car accident, please explain how Karen killed Officer John O’Keefe. Hos long to die in the cold? Please elaborate ?😗

I agree with Emily Baker. I also was thinking the same when the CW quickly came out and said they would retry the case. All 12 of the jurors said not guilty to the murder charge. So I don't think they can even go after her for that. They'll have to stick with the lesser included and even that they were split on. Lally needs to tame his pride down. The way these witnesses have been harassed, he should've remained silent for a while and figure out a different strategy, but you're going to still have people who believes that she is innocent. How will you find a jury who hasn't heard of this case?

Where did it state that all jurors disagreed with that 1st charge of 2nd degree murder? That is totally against what the juror that didn't deliberate, but they told this alternate what they ended with!!? They were hung from top down.

This judge showed biase in favor of the CW.. She spoke sharp and with vitriol to the def attys..she sustained the majority of the CW objections. She also rushed the def but never the CW..she should be removed from the karen Read trial based on biase..

Jackson & Little will be at the trial status hearing via Zoom. Beyond that, him to returning is speculation. Jackson said "We Got No Quit" which would implying, he will return. We'll have to see how it plays out.

Emily Baker was only critical of the prosecution, but perhaps she should have given them a bit of credit as the defense only convinced two jurors of reasonable doubt. I believe that is something to point out. And if it’s true that the FBI based their investigation on defense only discovery, that’s a problem.

@chrislim7615 exactly. Also, look at the disfunction between Mrs. O'Keefe and her son, Paul. He did not sit near his mother, to comfort her. He sat as far away from her as possible. He was so busy angrily glaring at Karen, he never even bothered to glance at his mother to see if she was ok.

Whaaat!? Why would anyone hate John!? As Karen said in her interview, everyone loved John! He was a very goodhearted person, he was an excellent Daddy, he gave up his whole life and lifestyle for those kids! He was funny, loving, compassionate. Good to friends, good to all. And all those ppl knew he was the only Daddy to those children! Why would anyone want to kill him?! What motive?? He did not do anything wrong to any of those ppl! Actually it was quite the opposite! They were all starting to really hang out and having fun together! Sure there was that weird thing with Karen starting to text Brian H, out of the blue sky, and Brian himself couldn't figure out why the hell she started that. But they both stated, separately, that it was really nothing. Even when they met up that one time, they both felt very uncomfortable and we're only together but a few minutes!! He kept trying to ask her questions bcuz he had that feeling that she was playing games. He did not like that or respect that. He even said in text, that he liked John, was his friend, and this made him feel very uncomfortable. He had a good conscience. He definitely did not start this up. And he also felt she was obviously doing this to get John back in some way, for whatever happened in Aruba. And John was telling her that he had enough. They were really only friends those last days. He was trying to get her to see that. And sure, they met up at bar, and they naturally hugged and kissed quickly - bcuz they were used to greeting that way for almost 2 yrs!! If you keep reading this, who had the real motive?? Karen. Not Brian. She's been stewing in anger since Aruba! So she tried making him jealous w Brian H texts and slight kiss. Then, one very drunken night, something fatal happens. It's always Occam's Razor. The simplest thing that makes the most sense!

10 - 2 was what they found. The CW got 10 jurors to see it their way. The defense only swayed 2 jurors.
