Interview with Irish cellist Ailbhe McDonagh who released her recording of Bach: Complete Solo Cello Suites in 2024 on the Steinway & Sons label.
In this video Ailbhe explains why she recorded this album, describes the preparation and recording process involved, and gives insights into the various ways the Bach Cello Suites are interpreted by both cellists and listeners alike. The making of this album was supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
