I own this tripod and had it 3 years no issues with it at all, even bought the center column for it which is very nice as well , very sturdy and versatile tripod indeed and the quality is phenomenal for the price
I have this and I am very satisfied, the use in large format photography's rock solid, stable a perfect tripod for Large and Ultra Large Format Photography, maximum load 40Kg ,owes nothing to other brands, owes nothing to other brands.
Excellent presentation. I own a HS80C that I love. It is the best tripod I ever had. Artcise is definetely not known enough ! Sad, they should put effort on marketing their excellent products. I also own a Gimbal Head , a fluid head, and newly polarizing filter from Artcise....so happy !
Well, I would have used your link had I seen this video first but I already ordered this gem of a tripod. I think you did a great job presenting it. I irdered the 90C Ultra and I think it comes with the additional center extender. I wonder if you can mount the center column upside down? This would allow you to mount the camera lower than the top plate, theoretically giving even more stability.
It's amazing how many different iterations the "Radian" tripod comes in. I saw a video from Mark Denny where he had his name on one for $1100. Same Radian tripod.
Great video Thank you for bringing this one to us. I have the RT 90c and its a beast of a tripod. I also own Benro and Leofoto big tripods and the RT90c is up there with the best of them. Great review once again take care.
Hey Jason, thanks for this review. I've stumbled on this tripod today on Amazon and this is the only review I found. I have a question... Are you limited to the quick lock degrees on the legs? or can you lock between the quick locking degrees? Thanks again for the video.
Awesome video. Seems like a legit competitor to the pricier (waaaaay pricier??) Gitzos and RRSs. One question: the leveling base (bowl head) does not seem to come with a hook on the underside to which we can add counterweights....can you confirm that ? Or does it have the threads but the hook is missing?
@@FlarecorpMedia - FWIW - I ordered the AS80C. 63" is plenty for me. I have a tall Benro (60-70"), but it's not carbon fiber, and heavier than I want to lug around. This Artcise should do the trick for me. Figure I owe you a subscribe - done. 🙂
If that is the way you set up your gear and tripod….then that’s the problem. Gravity pulls more like that. Bring it down and elevate the tripod legs. It first came out as Innorel. Very sturdy tripod
great vid , but just for future are you able to put affiliate links for the uk too , dunno if thats possible or would help you either ways thiumbs up great review
Thanks for the suggestion and wanting to help me out! :) I hadn't thought of that and am not sure if there is another legal step I have to go through to use Amazon UK. I'll take a look.
Thank you for your great review. I have a question. This year, ARTCISE released an upgraded version of AS90C. The newer model is AS95C. What made you choose the old model over the new one?
The changed especially the height by +2 inches/6cm. Other things changed are just minor tweaks like leggrips or the leg adjustment design. But the price increased and I believe that soon they will enter European and US markets. Then prices will even go higher as it went for Sirui, Feisol etc.
As Ba Leka mentioned, there aren't many differences between the two, mostly height. I didn't need the extra inches and added weight. Also when I purchased this, it was on sale so the price difference was more significant.
I just purchased this tripod, well a very similar version by Artcise, AS90CG Camouflage and I'm waiting for it to arrive. This video will come in very handy for an amateur photographer like myself so thank you for making this video. One question though. I'd like to purchase a Carbon Fiber Gimbal head for it, will any Gimbal head work on it? And do you have any Gimbal head recommendations?
I use a ProMaster gimbal because that’s what my camera shop had when I was in need of one. It’s fine, but I’m sure there’s cheaper out there and it’s not carbon fiber
Can you fit any ball head if you get just the tripod without mounting plates? I have a Manfrotto MVH500 ball head and trying to understand if that's going to fit well
Over all this is a pretty good review. But........ your astrophotography tips....lol NEVER MOVE YOUR TRACKING BASE AFTER YOU POLAR ALIGN!!!! OMG, YOUR TIP FOR FINE TUNING YOUR TARGETS LOCATION IN THE FRAME BY ADJUSTING THE BASE (@7:51) IS THE WORST ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE SOMEONE PURSUING ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY.
You are absolutely right 😄 After I published this I said to myself 'duh Jason, you can't adjust the whole setup because then your tracking star is off', but the damage was done and the video already published. I should have said it can make it easier to allign and level the star tracker instead. Overall, not having a wobly tripod makes the biggest difference.
Those extra locking screws on the flat plate top are to secure a large ball head or video head and prevent unwanted loosening.
Such a great and detailed review, definitely going to buy this for my FX3

Great video…yes, this is the tripod to have. I purchased one about six months ago and have no issues! Cheers..

Artcise is just rebranding of the Innorel rt90cg.
@@Globetrotter-1 I already know that. But thanks to reply

It looks like a great tripod, I hadn't heard about this brand before! Thanks for the great review
thx for this vid, I got the 95 version which is newer. The quality is exceptional.

Gotta pay for that branding 😉

Awesome review! Very informative and helpful. Good sense of humor and professional presentation. I subscribed. All the best!

Fantastic review, professionally done!
I have the same tripod but it's called ... Innorel .... Great Tripod !
I like it very much. Is the tripod seawater resistant? Is there an optional center column?
good review - I'm looking at maybe getting one of these for my "big&tall" legs. TY.
The AS95C is even taller

I have another question; Does the tripod have a 1/4"or 3/8" thread at the top for accessories?
It has a 75mm bowl head. It's a far better video tripod than those label video tripods on Amazon. I use the E-IMAGE GH10 on top.

Will the legs lock in place closer together when fully extended or is there only one position?
I just bought this for astrophotography thanks.

Yeah I saw that and thought to myself "There goes your polar alignment".
