You are absolutely right, Madeleyni! The cake arrangement was so lovely and we are excited to see and then post the photos of it over the weekend. Hopefully you will be able to stop by and see them too, and thank you very much for joining us on Live yesterday. It was marvelous to have you on the show. Wishing you all the best and please have a joyous weekend!
Gosh, that's a beautiful way to describe Teacher Carolyn's designs, Phillip! It does look as if a breeze is blowing through it. We love how natural and organic it feels too. Thank you for sharing your perceptions of it with us and for taking the time time to watch our show. We hope you are doing well these days, and always enjoy seeing your posts. Wishing you the very best in all that you do and hope your life is filled with lovely flowers too!
We agree with you, Maria! This was such a splendid look at summer weddings, and Teacher Carolyn created her floral designs using such a bright and lovely color palette. Thank you for taking time to watch Live and share in the delight these pieces bring. We appreciate you visiting us and hope that you will join us again soon. Please take care and have a joyous time with flowers!
That's an excellent question, Red Wagon Floral! Honestly we aren't sure whether it is safe for your gray water system or not, and we encourage you to contact OASIS directly to ask them since you are using your bucket run off to water your garden. Here is some information about DCD that may help you make a decision: www.oasisfloralproducts.com/products/floralife-d-c-d-cleaner Here is their contact information page as well so you can give them a call or chat with them: www.oasisfloralproducts.com/pages/contact-us Thank you very much for stopping by to watch our show and we hope you will visit us again soon or whenever you can. Wishing you a delightful week in all that you do!
That's an excellent question, Kim! It was a pair of glass bowls that Teacher Carolyn uses to simulate a wedding cake. She has had them for some time and they are part of her personal collection. We searched on-line but couldn't find any quite like hers. You can always measure a wedding cake and then find some bowls (either glass or metal) that will match those measurements for your substitute. There are also cake forms on line but those are usually foam. Thanks so much for taking time to watch our show and for spending some time with us. We hope to see you again soon and wish you a lovely week!
That's an excellent question, Sweet Notes Connie! This lovely wedding bouquet could be done as a spiral and that would be beautiful; however, Teacher Carolyn is involved in wedding floral design, both large and small, every weekend throughout the summer so the way in which she created this wedding bouquet was intentional. Thank you for taking time to watch this marvelous Live and we hope you will join us again soon. Wishing you a delightful week and hope all goes well for you!
It works either way, Ana! You could bring the flowers all the way to the top of the cake or you could add a tier of cake that rises about the wedding cake garden. It's such a lovely way to decorate for a special celebration, and we hope you enjoyed watching Teacher Carolyn create it all. Thank you for spending some time with us on Live, and we look forward to hosting you again soon. Best wishes to you and please have a marvelous weekend!
Those are excellent questions, Jane! The foliage that Teacher Carolyn used is known as Lady's Mantle and if you cannot find that, Bupleurum would be a good substitute. The clear pin flower holder is known as a clear Kenzan and you can find them on Amazon. Thank you for taking the time to watch our latest Live all about summer wedding floral design. We hope you enjoyed the show and look forward to seeing you again soon. Best wishes for a superb weekend!
I would think it would be hard for baker to place bottom piece of cake amidst the blooms! Absolutely beautiful! I think maybe if you split the foam wreath in half, it would be easier for baker!
That's an important point, Paula! Using two halves of the foam wreath is an excellent idea, and then you can place them together to form the full circle. Thank you for taking the time to watch our show and learn more about wedding floral design. We are happy to have you here on our channel, and hope you will join us again soon. Best wishes for a marvelous week with flowers!

That's an excellent question, Stella! Last year Teacher Marisa decided to take a new creative path, and she went to sushi school to become a sushi chef. She enjoys her new profession very much. We hope you enjoyed watching Teacher Carolyn bring wedding floral design to life today. Her arrangements were so beautiful and organic, and it was fun to watch them grow and develop. Thank you very much for spending some time with us on Live, and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Best wishes to you and hope you have a superb week!

Thanks for letting us know your thoughts, Michelle! One of the beauties of floral design is that there are many different styles for everyone and while some will appeal, others may not. We appreciate you taking the time to watch Teacher Carolyn create some beautiful summer wedding arrangements. We hope you will visit us again soon, and we wish you all the best in the meantime!

Is DCD safe for my grey water system? I water a flower garden with my bucket run off.

Where did you get the glass cake from

Can’t help noticing that for the bridal bouquet the stems are not going in one direction. Should it be done following the spiral way?
That's an excellent question, Sweet Notes Connie! Are the flowers have to be designed taller than the cake? Or you will leave that last tier of cake showing by itself?
It works either way, Ana! You could bring the flowers all the way to the top of the cake or you could add a tier of cake that rises about the wedding cake garden. It's such a lovely way to decorate for a special celebration, and we hope you enjoyed watching Teacher Carolyn create it all.
