Fun Fact: The first time Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan met was when they had a sit down with the Director. Half way through the meeting, Chris leaned over to the director and said, “I don’t understand a word he (Jackie) be saying!” When the meeting was over, Chris left first and Jackie pulled the director to the side and said, “I like Chris Tucker but I can’t understand a word he says!” Bonus: I met Mark Rolston (FBI Agent Russ) and he told me how when the film was finished, Jackie Chan rented out Planet Hollywood restaurant and invited everyone who worked on the movie and asked them to bring their families. Mark brought his family along and told me how nice Jackie was to his family.
Chris Tucker was a comedian and one of his famous sketch was impersonating Michael Jackson, He also is a very close friend of MJ. You would see many MJ references from Chris. Jackie and Chris are also best friends and you can see how great the chemistry is, cant wait for you to watch part 2
Yes, Chris Tucker was a stand up comedian first before he got into movies. He was absolutely hilarious with the stand up he did on Def Comedy Jam back in the early 90's. Y'all should check it out.
This is where the fun begins! This movie got me introduced to both Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker! Love every second of it! Hope you both like this classic movie! 🙏🏽💪
One of my favorite moments in this movie is the bonding scene between Lee and Carter when they jam out to War by Edwin Starr and practice disarming techniques.
the 1st American movie that Jackie Chan appeared in was "The Cannonball Run" 1980 and his 2nd American movie was also the 1st American movie where he was the star, and it was "The Big Brawl" 1981. His 3rd American movie was "The Cannonball Run 2" 1984 and his 4th American movie is Definitely 1 of his All-Time Best and it is "The Protector" 1985 co-starring the late Danny Aiello and Jackie plays a New York City Detective
Hey guys Really love your reaction to rush hour❤ And thanks for watching the bloopers And I can't wait to see your reaction to rush hour 2 and don't forget to watch rush hour 3 and all the other bloopers !!!
The fact Jackie Chan didn't fully understood what he was saying in englishis hilarious. They had him saying the N word. 😂😂 in one take I saw he asked" so what did u say that starts the fight? " lol😂😂😂😂
jackies first appearance in a hollywood film was 1973's enter the dragon,he also had cameos in 1981 cannonball run and a small role in cannonball run II.
Nice reaction. Jackie Chan will always leave movie bloopers at the end of his films. Jackie Chan's first American movie was 'The Big Brawl' (aka Battle Creek Brawl) (1980). He really didn't get successful in the American market until 'Rumble in the Bronx' (1995).
Y'all mentioned Jacky doing his own stunts, he does and he broke his foot jumping onto a boat in the movie Rumble in the Bronx, I enjoy the reaction and keep up the good work!!!
You should see Chris Tucker in, "The Fifth Element" You will not believe it is the same guy. He was sooo talented. Yes, was. He left this world in December of last year. Love this film and your reactions were sooo fun to watch. As we say here in Texas; Y'all be safe.
@@MJoy4Fun What's weird is I checked Wikipedia!! It seems it has been corrected. Good grief!! Anyway the remark I made about, The Fifth Element still stands. He is absolutely brilliant in that one. Very funny man. Glad he's not dead!! Whew!
Early film with Jackie Chan in America is probably Enter the Dragon ( Bruce Lee film ). He had a very small part in it. I think Bruce actually hit Chan during filming and checked up on him during filming to ensure he was ok.
The only movie I can think of offhand that was Jackie's first American movie was The Big Brawl, I think. I also think some other ones are Cannonball Run I & 2, Shanghai Noon, The Tuxedo and the Remake/rehash of The Karate Kid. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also, Chris Tucker started as a standup comedian.
Rumble in the Bronx is Jackie Chan's first major US based film, regarding Bruce Lee, he was in Enter the Dragon as one of the guards that Bruce beats up with the nun-chucks. I would not say Jackie fought Bruce in that film, more like he got beat up by Bruce in that film. I think he is also an Extra in many scenes during the Tournament, he was also an extra in Fist of Fury (Bruce lee)
Jackie Chan's 1st major US based film was "the Cannonball Run" in 1980 and Jackie's 1st starring role in an American film was in 1981, it was called "the Big Brawl"...
Loved your reaction!! Glad this movie had you smiling and laughing all throughout. Jackie’s fight scenes was paid homage in Shang-Chi, MCU movie, which shows how influential his films are. Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights are another set of films with Jackie but he costars with Owen Wilson. As for Chris Tucker I cant think of any recent films but he was in Fifth Element. Love the kitties fighting before a action comedy movie.
U really REALLY need to see his Chinese movies, cuz his stunts are unbelievable!!! Also a Chinese actor named Chow Yun Fat! His proly most famous Chinese movie is, Hardboiled! He did 2 really great American movies. The Corruptor, and The Replacement Killers! 1 more Asian set to watch is, the Raid, and Raid 2!
Chris Tucker doesn't do too many movies, he only chooses to do one if he really likes the role, according to a video I watched about him. He doesn't need to keep working all the time if he doesn't want to since he's famous enough he gets paid well. He's also really well known for his role in The Fifth Element, you have probably seen it in memes even if you haven't seen the movie! LOL
Chris Tucker is a stand-up comedian. Jackie Chan was a stunt in two of Bruce Lee's movies. You should watch Jackie Chan movies from the 70s, they are amazing! :) Great reaction, guys.
@MJoy4Fun Jackie Chan worked with Bruce Lee in Fist Of Fury 1972 and Enter The Dragon 1973(highly recommended movies) his first films in the united states are The Big Brawl 1980 and The Protector 1985
You need to watch Rush Hour II and Rush Hour III. If you enjoy the chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker watch Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights. Shanghai Noon is the first film but this time Jackie Chan teams up with Owen Wilson. If you enjoy watching Jackie Chan watch some of his earlier films. “Rumble in the Bronx” “First Strike” and “Bleeding Steel” in which he filmed a scene on the sails of our Sydney Opera House. An interesting fact about Jackie Chan. He was scheduled to film a scene on top of the World Trade Centre at 7am on September 11th 2001 but the script wasn’t ready in time so they cancelled the shoot. Less than two hours later planes would crash into the World Trade Centre causing the towers to fall. The film in which Jackie Chan starred with Bruce Lee was “The Big Boss” (1971).
Awesome, glad this made the channel. Second is awesome also. Third is good but was made a few years later and wasn’t quiet and good. Also check out Jackie and own Wilson in Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights. Love the channel peace
This wasn't the first movie Jackie did in America but it was the first really successful one and satisfying for him. I think his first was a cameo on "Cannonball" from the beginning of the 80s but wasn't much more of a couple of scenes. I agree with the other comments, you'll like the sequels! My best regards from Chile! 🤗
It was “The Cannonball Run” which also had Johnny Yune (“They Call Me Bruce” and “They Still Call Me Bruce”) among the plethora of stars. “Cannonball” was the David Carradine race movie. There was also “The Gumball Rally” and “Death Race 2000”.
@@cesarvidelac you’re welcome, and after reviewing his filmography, his first Hollywood film was “The Big Brawl (1980)”, then “The Cannonball Run” in ‘81. I don’t think I saw the first one, but the title sounds familiar. Anyway, I first saw him in the latter film.
6:57 (±) » I used to work on a hotel and that happens a lot to new guests: people almost screaming _"DO YOU UNDERS-- DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?"_ (not only in english, but you got the idea) // 😂🤣😂
You should definitely watch a Rumble in Bronx another american Jackie Chan film which is just awesome ! Also check out Armour of God - very good Jackie Chan action/adventure film with a LOT of crazy action and fights !
3:02--That's cause that guy always plays evil bad men ..Seen him in at least 5 movies where he's the heavy!! But as ya saw, Tucker and Chan's chemistry was great, which makes for an awesome action comedy. Yeah, Tucker's done a lot of stand-up and comedy films. I knew you'd love this one..the sequels are great, too!!
If you like this, you should check out Shanghai Noon. Can’t believe you guys haven’t seen The Fifth Element? Classic cult science fiction movie and Chris Tucker is hilarious in it. Also Bruce Willis!
Great reaction, y'all. RH 2 is almost as good as 1, but RH 3 is just ok. Jackie Chan made a serious movie a few years ago titled The Foreigner. Really good. Chan takes the law into his own hands.
After your trilogy of Rush Hour you should see something a little bit serious and controversial. Something pertaining to good and evil. Would love for you guys to review The Devils Advocate.
Jackie Chan coupled with an American comedic actor is gold not only in this franchise but is as good if not better with Owen Wilson. Do yourselves a favor and check out the Shanghai Knights? series after doing this:),

There's a 4th one coming out! Didn't you get the news?? Jackie Chan confirmed it!
Chris Tucker started his career in stand up comedy when he was a lot younger. Check him out in “Money Talks.” It’s hilarious as well.
