The bloopers best part on all the rush hour movies
I was born in 95 so this movie is very dear to me, watching it from a kid to now times were just different then.. two legends being legendary!!
Ah, you should have reacted to all of the bloopers! It makes the reaction to the Rush Hour series feel more complete that way.
You know, the reason why Chris Tucker was dancing like Michael Jackson in this movie and in Friday is bc he was friends with him before Michael passed
Of course he was friend with him before he passed.
Chris danced like Michael because he was a fan. Michael Jackson and Chris Tucker did not become friends until after Friday and Rush Hour - in the 2000’s sometime. They met through Gavin Arvizo, the kid who accused MJ. That’s why Chris was able to testify for Michael during his trial in 2005
3 parts of this movie that really make me crack up laughing are:
1. When Carter starts dancing like Michael Jackson in the middle of the street after blowing the car up
2. When Lee and Carter are bonding and practicing disarming techniques while Edwin Starr's song "War" plays in the background
3. When Carter says "I know that ain't the bomb. Get that bomb away from me." Towards the end
And trust me, the blooper reels for the remaining two movies are just as funny when it comes to the slip-ups with the dialogue.
I'm not sure anyone knows this piece of history, but that part on 3:00 "Last day of British rule", Hong Kong used to be ruled by the British for 156 years until July 1st 1997, which is when the start of this movie takes place, even though this movie was released in February 1998. See, Hong Kong was established as a special administrative region of China (SAR) for 50 years, maintaining its own economic and governing systems from those of mainland China during this time, but that all changed when the central government in Beijing increased its influence after the passing of the Hong Kong national security law in 2020

Rush Hour was almost starring Jackie Chan Martin Lawrence or Chris Rock before Chris Tucker. Martin had Jackie on his Christmas episode 'Scrooge' trying to find Sheneneh for some reason, but something happened, and Martin couldn't do it. Then they were looking at Chris Rock, but I believe he couldn't do it because he was doing Lethal Weapon 4, so they got Chris Tucker.
Eddie Murphy was the first choice to play Carter but turned it down to do Holy Man

Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker have such good chemistry togther and Jackie Chans stunts are still some of my fav he’s adorable died on some of em many times check out some of his older movies or behind the scenes stuff it’s wild.
I was introduced to Rush Hour movies through my dad at around 6 who put me on to Bruce Lee movies when I was studying Taekwondo; he told me that Jackie Chan was an extra & stuntman in some of the movies(Fist of Fury/The Chinese Connection & Enter the Dragon) we watched which blew mind as a kid 😄 and as much as I loved Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan was a lot more fun to watch 🤷🏾♂️🤣🤣🤣

When this came out jacky chan didn't speak English well,so the first scene whith chan getting off the plane and Chris said do you understand the words that are coming out of my moth were an adlib by Chris Tucker that was funny and worked perfectly so the director kept it in.
