It's a really cool robot, but I can't help but notice that it seems to be walking over a pile of its own body parts, which is a little disturbing

Hello, how are you? ... I am an electronic engineering student at TECNM, and I see your project very interesting. I would like to develop it for academic purposes.
If you are willing to help me, I would appreciate if you can provide me with the diagrams that were used, and the 3D designs of the components.
Thank you in advance, and your help will be very helpful.

That's really impressive. Would you explain the joint mechanism you are using?

The joints rotate by a 3D printed PP part with a narrow part to let it flex. PP, Polypropylene, is a good plastic to make living hinges. I consider making the whole leg assembly as one big piece to avoid the clumsy joint lumps, but PP is a bit tricky to print.
