    Your curly hair videos really help my daughter, who is very insecure about her naturally curly hair because its always frizzy and she can never get it to look good. She watches your videos and it really helps her out and she now loves her curly hair. I really cant thank you enough for making your videos :)

      you can't but you can change the texture from soft to rough or rough to soft. if you have like 4/a hair you can't change it to 3/b hair so yeah.... I suggest you looking up how to make your hair soft or something...

      SoLesliSaid yes girl, black girls could have really pretty hair if some of them took the time to let their hair be natural and take care of it because I believe extensions make your hair fall out due to the weight

      Love To Sing i'm not black, & not saying anything is wrong with being black. But its also all about preference, some just dont prefer the puffy hair life. They like the silky soft flowy straight hair, natural hair is beautiful & anyone can have beautiful natural hair, you're right. I believe extensions do have weight and can thin out your hair

    right now i'm transitioning from relaxed hair back to my natural hair and it's the worst process ever i want to cry. i want to wear my curls but they only last a day, even if i pineapple it or tie it up at the end of the night and i'm tired of wearing it in buns everyday or having to redo my hair everyday. my goal is to have voluminous beautiful curls like you haha

      @SLS82096 7 лет назад +8

      I went through the same exact thing while I was transitioning, to conquer that I just did protective styles like braid outs and twist outs and would just rebrand or re twist at night or even pineappling those styles lasted atleast 3 days till i had to rebrand or retwist. find a style thats easy for you to blend your textures! sorry this is long haha but i been through it I know exactly how you feel. Don't give up the curls will be back soon !!!!

      I went through the same thing. I ended up cutting my hair super short and shaving one side. My curls are back to normal (i waited for my hair to grow out for about 6 months before cutting it) and I get so many compliments. And a plus is that my hair has already grown so much!

      Im pretty sure you'll love it :) I would say it has grown my hair, especially this past year, along with other things. But I DEF believe that having a clean scalp has added a BIG help to reaching my hair length goals. I'm actually filming my updated curly hair routine today(if the rain lets up :) And you can see from previous videos how much healthier my hair has gotten. I started the shampoo and my hair not only grew through continual use but it also was more full from root to tip ;) (please keep in mind I do other things than just shampoo but the better the foundation the better the results) hope that helped!

  • @QueenShiva1920

    Loving this video. You have a new subscriber! Be careful with conditioning overnight. I've read that hair absorption plateaus after 30 minutes of conditioning, so anything after that has no added benefit. Also, conditioning you hair for hours changes the keratin in your hair, so that amazing softness you feel is your hair becoming overly elastic. I've read a lot of articles about all types of hair patterns experiencing hair breakage within a few months. I do have to say that you for showing what your hair looks like after a week is clutch because we all go through the struggle and then we know you have real tips for real hair!

  • @blessybaybee3

    I need to get one of those scalp massaging things immediately! I love a good scalp massage when I'm washing my hair but sometimes I feel like I'm too rough and it just get tangled. I have also used that shea moisture shampoo and th matching conditioner they smell delicious and feel great! I just switched over the the mantuka honey shea moisture shampoo and jamaican black castor oil conditioner by shea because they both promote hydration on the hair which i need because my coils r wayyy tight so I'm more prone to split ends and breakage. Overall i do all the same techniques as you and have seen great results but I'm not quite where I want to be on my curl journey just yet.

    I keep on hearing to only wash the scalp but I did that for a year and my hair was so dry. As soon as I started washing all my hair it became softer and less frizzy lol. Maybe it's just my hair type. Btw I have big curly hair too

      Kc P Yep. Honestly, you have to do what works for you. What works for one person may not work for the next. I put shampoo on my scalp and hair. I rinse it through.

  • @carinnavargas8697
    @carinnavargas8697 7 лет назад

    1. Rinse with cool water (of course) you can also gain moisture after a wash by applying whatever type of oil you prefer to your scalp (I use either coconut, carrot or jajoba oil) 3. Rinse your hair upside down with that same cool water lol! I hope this works 👍🏾 I love your videos btw, you and your hair are AMAZING!

    One thing that I've found personally with my hair (could be my hair type) never use the bleach that comes with the boxes hair dyes like the crazy colors it will ruin your hair and it won't curl until the bleach grows out. I learned that from experience bc I dyed my bangs(don't ask) and 45 minutes to and hour after my shower it's no longer curly it's just wavy.

      Being a stylist we have no time to worry about ppl getting hurt over different hair types, it's apart of life nn also our job to know what products will work for our clients hair goals! So the fact that she mentioned a product from the U.K. For mixed chicks shouldn't offend anyone..... it's apart of life! Period. Shit I'm Mexican nn I use some products that say it's for Natural hair..... if it works for the reason I need it to work for; then I'm going to continue to use it! Lol #hairgoals

    I LOVE shea moisture Jamaican black caster oil deep conditioner!! my ride or die. I've cheated on it & tried other shea moisture deep conditioners but NOTHING compares! lol. I use a hooded dryer for 15mins & my hair feels so strong & soft once I wash it out.
    I also use henna & shakiki powder with normal daily conditioner & coconut oil, olive oil & grapeseed oil & that decreases my excessive shedding so much. my hair has shed from loads of medication but using henna diy & shea moisture deep conditioner by weekly has made it so it's still healthy, thick & long 😆

    My hair will be clear and detangled for a couple of hours but then it goes right back to being matted. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent matting? Btw my hair is more on the short side I used to have a tapered cut but it's grown a lot since then. It's in the awkward growth stage so I can't really do any protective styles just yet. I trie to do braids but my hair was too matted up for it to work :/

    I think, my problem is that I all the time wear my hair in a bun. the thing is that the can be really annoying in class because I go through them all the time I I can't concentrate anymore. An other thing is that when I open my bun I really like them but a have an hour later they are shorter an have a lot of wolum and I don't like that. I really have a lot of frizz and I lose a lot of hair every day.

      Coconutwater Tatyana hardly ever. Last cut I got was 7 months ago and before that it was 2-3 years. I don't plan on cutting or trimming it for a while. Only exception will be when my ends are split. Other than that, I'm good. (:

    question: how do you make your hair big and soft at the same time? when ever i deep condition and my hair is all soft, it always becomes more relaxed and chill. how can i get soft and defined curls that are big and wild at the same time?
