The problem with advertising is because most RUclipsr are never genuine. They just want you to buy the stuff they recommend so that you can make them money. However, the problem is most of the time, subscribers never get what’s advertised or what the RUclipsr is recommending. I’ll watch all your cleaning videos but I seriously forward through ads. because I just feel like it’s another sales pitch
I have always enjoyed how real your videos are and I love the motivational talk. I can’t believe someone would be upset about sponsored content. I can’t imagine not supporting my favourite creators. But I think you nailed it, you found your audience. Keep doing what you do!

I feel like sponsored videos are great! I subscribe to you and other youtubers because I gain inspiration from the videos (personal growth, cleaning, organizing etc) so if it's a product you love and just happened to be sponsored by that just gives me inspiration on new items that could be useful to me! Besides, that pays you to do the work you do so that when I'm feeling stuck or need a pep talk I can get on RUclips and find your videos... you SHOULD be paid for something I use/need.
Good to know about the water heater, wasn't aware. We've owned our house for 2 years and never have so getting it on the honey do list!
I love how you said it may sound cheesy or whatever word you used when you were talking about you feel like making an impact in people's lives is your calling. I loved it because saying it's silly or cheesy just shows how humble you are. But I 100% agree with you. You get me through a lot, I not only gain motivation but I learn important things to better myself just as a human.. spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically... so with that said THANK YOU. ❤️

Dollar Tree has a miracle spray called Totally Awesome! It gets coffee stains, sauce and even red wine stains out of carpets & rugs!
If I'm ever in the mood where I'm not into sponsored content I just skip passed it in the video! Not a big deal to me at all. I love your videos and I "rewatch" them when I'm cleaning myself! I love your commentary and helpful information while I'm watching. Love your videos!

I'm definitely working on resetting my home too. I have too much stuff from traumatic events and I just couldn't part with those things but now that I'm healing, Im finding the joy in letting things go
We have something called a water bug that sits in the pan of the water heater and ac. If water hits it, it notifies us so there's no back up/flooding your ceiling! Ours is through our security system but I'm sure there's other options.

The person who left you that comment obviously doesn't realize how much work goes into making these videos, and it comes off as bitter and jealous to me. You're as genuine as it gets, and there's no reason to be offended by you having sponsors. You don't go about it in a pushy or deceitful way. I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but I suddenly developed a neuroimmune disease 15 years ago that's left me unable to work, struggling to physically take care of myself, and often too isolated from the outside world. Hi Michelle, Your content is perfect. Real life situations good bad or indifferent, and the calmness in your voice is always pleasing. As far as sponsor content is concerned when you speak of items, we all know you tested the item. Certainly, it's not like a commercial where we all know is usually just a hired spokesperson.

Michelle please read, I know it’s a long post but please read it! You do not need to explain a sponsorship! The majority of the watchers understand a sponsorship it’s almost like a commercial while you watch a program on TV. It is your way to get paid, in addition to you tube paying you and it’s ok for you to get paid to put yourself out here for us. If someone says if you have a sponsor I can’t watch your videos anymore then tell them bye! They are not going to watch an authentic great content creator that doesn’t have a sponsorship! They think they are hurting you by leaving your channel but they are only 1 out of 100 more that will watch you and in all honesty they probably still watching even if they are not subscribed because you give us great content! So thank you and thank you for having sponsorships and giving us the opportunity to purchase it with a discount! As far as painting wood I think staining turns out better on wood. Thanks for doing such a great job. Our water heater leaked and we did not know until our hardwood floors in our bathroom and kitchen rotted out and we had to replace floor but I ended up getting a whole new master bathroom out of it lol, got to find the good with the bad!

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry about the water heater
Mine went out on me last August while my husband was in the hospital with kidney cancer surgery. And we had just had our bathroom remodeled. Thank God I caught it in time or it would have destroyed my bathroom. When people aren't nice to you or mean to you, don't let them bother you, it's not worth it.
Bless y’all Michelle. Your few days are so much like those that my husband and I seem to have. When 1 fun thing happens it seems to come in 3’s. The harder you try to do things they sometimes just get worse.

Sorry about the coffee on your rug! So I have pets and kids and all the stains that come along with them 😂 and I LOVE the carpet spray called Spot Shot. So I use that first, get as much of the initial spill/stain out that I can, and then I use my spot cleaning machine or steam cleaner. That seems to do the trick. I also sometimes use Oxy on my stains and then use the cleaner machine.

I think it would be cool if you talked about the cleaning products you’re using in your videos and your feedback so we can see what would help us clean better too.
You also can sprinkle baking soda on it and it too will suck it up into soda let dry there and scrape it up then wash it

I understand the subscribers point about ad content, and yes , sometimes I skip over those.
But what we have to remember is ..... (and I'm going to touch on the financial aspect of the videos)
You are Working, even though you do this because you like it,etc., its a job, you are helping to support your family the same way those of us that work jobs outside our home. Sponsored content is part of the job.
Its easy to skip the minute of video that is sponsored, so I don't see the issue.
I don't think they wouldn't mind the money at first but you are so encouraging for those who want to start their RUclips journey!! And I'm pretty sure, people like me don't watch your videos just the cleaning motivation :) + Black would be perfect!! ☕️

Isn't being a homeowner so much fun?!! 😬 We had a leaky water heater but it wasn't in the attic. Currently we need to replace our septic system at a cost of about $20,000. My advice is check how old your water heater is. Replace it before it fails and the same goes for septic systems!!

If anyone is watching RUclips in this day and expect there not to be sponsors then that’s on them. Like I don’t mind watching a couple minutes of sponsorships! Anyway our hot water heater is in our attic as well and it leaked in November 2019, we were laying on our couch watching a movie and I told my husband “you hear that it sounds like rain” we look outside.. no rain so I’m walking to hear it and it’s in our utility closet where water is dripping! Thankfully we did not go to bed!!!! Because it was the hot water heater leaking! Ugh such a mess. I feel ya! I didn’t know you’re supposed to do that every year and we haven’t since! So I guess in the morning I need to let my husband know! Our old home our hot water heater was outside in a shed!😬 I think it’s a default they put them in our attics! They shouldn’t be in there!!!

That's a first for me. Seeing a hot water tank in the attic. Such a strange place to put one and not very cost effective with potential leaks ruining a number of things in your home. We had our on the main level and super handy to empty with a hose. Perhaps they put it there because of no basement.🤔😮

Thank you for always producing such awesome content Michelle! I don’t mind your sponsored content at all….you are consistent and that is important to me as a viewer. I get a little annoyed when someone is not consistent with their uploads, then does a 15 min video that has sponsored content. I don’t know…just seems like, “I gotta get a video of some sort out to promote this product”. You keep doing what you’re doing! Sorry about the hot water heater….I’ve never drained mine. Didn’t know that’s a thing lol. I have a basement so I guess I’m safe from water seeping through the ceiling!

We had one go out the same way a couple years ago. Gross water everywhere!
My husband went on Amazon, and got a set of moisture sensor alarms. We put one under the water heater, one under the washer, and one under the dishwasher. That last one, the dishwasher one, already saved us potentially having to rip out cabinets and stuff. Dishwasher connector started leaking under the cabinets, and that sensor started SCREAMING at like 2am one night.
I don't think the sensors are real expensive. Could be especially helpful for you guys, seeing as you have two ginormous water heaters up in the attic ...

Some people are so unhappy with their lives that they can't stand to see people trying to provide for themselves and their families. We all want and need to in some way. Like you said. We need to survive. Some people feel this way about the NFL and college football. They only like college and not the NFL because they don't want to see people rewarded financially despite the hard work they have put in. It's absolute ridiculousness to me. How awful to be so miserable.
I’m sure many have already said this, but ignore that comment/person, they just wanted to make themselves sound principled and important. I’m also not a huge fan of sponsored content, but it’s like you said - I skip over it and continue with the rest of the video. I do that for all the YTers that I watch. I don’t hold it against them that they want to make money and have to do this “commercial” to do this, I just skip it and move on with my life.
