I think this is a showcase that's it's more important how you train. He got his Throw Breaks down, is looking for the Whiff Punish, gets the Block Punishes, uses the Heat Mechanic, and goes in when he has the advantage. He's new, but is focusing on all the Fundamentals. Amazing showcase of the fact that you can get hella good hella fast if you put your focus in the right areas. Joka only started playing Tekken in 2019 and put up Tournament numbers in 2021. Anyone can do it if you practice the right way
early in the video comment: Watching replays from a top leo player who started with T8 is legit brilliant. Cuz a lot of us have been stuck playing T7 since Leo didn't get too much spicy new stuff in T8 I'm really interested to see how they play! Edits: 2:24 I really like that setup with the cd2 at the wall. Cuz of the distance it creates the opponent will likely have to run in to get anything started which would make them run into the f2 and since the 4 comes quite quickly afterwards it's hard to whiffpunish (especially since you don't expect your opponent to whiff if your back is glued to a wall) Unreal how good MRXo is at all the CH pickups after ss1+2 and cd2,1. I get those in practice mode maybe 5% of the time, tops.
I like your exploration into what really makes Leo in Tekken 8, maybe setting up some mirror matches with a player like that who grew in Tekken 8 will give you even more perspective
@@djdelta777he mustve been from other fighting game. Im new to tekken and was never really in to fighting game. I'm more like souls player and love getting my ass rekt. But tekken ia so much different it's torture against another player not with AI.
Nice video as always man Maybe you can either speak up, lower the game volume or increase increase the mic volume. Kinda struggling hearings your voice man
Yo Richie. Nice vid as always! I would like to ask you a thing. Would you be able to watch some of my replays to help me learn on what should i focus on improving? Im really struggling to keep up with late orange/red ranks and i still cant wrap my head around what makes Tekken, Tekken. I think im pretty alright with Leo's tools but i think my fundamentals are lacking a lot. But there could always be something more!

Very cool
How do you do the FF F4 pickup? It seems when I do it, the opponent is already knocked down and can't be picked up? Do I just need to do it faster?
I’ve been trying to figure this out too.
Yeah the F4 pick up is easier matter of fact i get it by doing FFF4.
Bro been streaming so long he sees letters instead of other letters
How the hell do you pick up after SS 1+2?? I dash for F4 and it doesn’t work
You need to get close enough and qcf3 really fast and its kinda pretty hard.
Edit: Im stupid ignore me lol
The game volume is a bit too loud.
Was that 6 f4s in a row on that pick up?
It was actually KNK3 3 times then KNK1+2 W! KNK3,4 wall combo etc.
Minor spelling mistake AINTNOWAY
