Sir, thank you so much. I'm a beginner in this game and you're making my life so easy. I wish these things were taught in schools. Now, you're the only finance youtuber I trust. Request: Can you make an in-depth personal finance video😊
Clear, eloquent in good English. No hindi or other langauage mixed. As a person familiar with less understanding of hindi. Feel very in undestandingbthe nuances. Keep it up
Great explanation. But when you say go for two mutual funds house and then two mutual funds like balanced and cap weighted means 4 types of mutual funds .
1. Don't just compare returns dig a bit and analyse the past returns as well as volatility 1,3,5 years mutual fund as well (Top 50(1-50) companies are better than next 50(51-100) 2. Have a combo of both Equal weighted and Market cap-weighted index funds 3. Compare Tracking error when you want to invest for short term and compare Tracking difference if you are investing for long term. The lower the Tracking error, difference the better. 4. Don't put all your money in 1 Mutual Fund, Split your money in atleast 2 MF to reduce the risk. 5. Avoid jumping from one Index funds to another fund.
Mr. Jain has contracted his first rule I.e. never judge a fund based on past performance. He has made full video by comparing returns based on past only. You can not move ahead an inch if you don’t quote past data is the reality of all data analysis. So why recite the poem past perform is not an indicator of future performance. 😅
Top performers of Nifty will move out of the index while top losers of Nifty 50 will enter Nifty next 50. In short, nifty next 50 will have more loser stocks getting added to it.
Can you help to do a comparison b/w index fund and ETF and top 3 to invest based on liquidity? Also tracking error and tracking difference video will be bonus for us to understand and decide.
Thank you so much. You are explaining so well like a very good professor .We need more and more such videoes. You are helping all of us to become an intelligent investor.
Pls, explain the difference between tracking error and tracking difference. Thanks for all your videos so far. I hope to see more great content in the future.
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio..
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist.
I took charge of my portfolio but faced losses in 2022. Realizing the need for a change, I sought advice from a fiduciary advisor. Through restructuring and diversification with dividend stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds, and REITs, my $1.2M portfolio surged, yielding an annualized gain of 28%.
Rahul, You have given Excellent views on precautions to take in investing in Index Funds. As of Nov'24 in Nifty 50, which 2 indexes in Equal weight index and Market weight index, should i do research on to buy in them. Thank you... Pradeep
Just love your videos. The main reason is properly analyzed and also it guides people like us to how to analyse the data ourselves. Thank you for posting the videos and keep posting more and more with all the facts and analysis.
Very good explanation. @Rahul, i came across your channel accidently when searching for something and become fan of you. The information and clarity that you provide is amazing.
This is a great video on Index Funds to those planning to invest. Please make a video on Tracking Error vs Tracking Difference. That would help a lot to have better information before making investment. Thank you
Choose simply one nifty 50 index fund with significant aum and low tracking error. Front running is not possible in index fund or at least not illegal as index is already in public donain. Equal weight funds doesn't have any clear cut advantage to make it a compelling case. On the top it has higher tracking error and expenses. In equity simplicity rules. You don't need to maximize the return, invest aggressively to achieve your goal. Don't forget the luck of sequence of return. One more thing, nifty next 50 almost an equal weight index, look at its volatility.
Can we invest index funds with any of the AMCs? Just asking because I am already invested in Navi Nifty 50 index and fund also seems to be good with low tracking errors. Only concern is that it's not a reputed AMC and the the new player in the market.
@@vickeyvvp There is nothing wrong with Navi nifty index fund. It is almost two years old. Though there is no guarantee in future, it still keeps its cost low. That is really commendable.
Dear Rahul. I really like your commentary. Very balanced and informative. Thank you. Can you please make a full video/ webinar on investment into Index / ETF based funds for the long term? I am 60 now. Planning to retire in one or two years. Planning to invest about 1 Cr I to Momentum/Alfa funds for long term (next 20 years) for a systematic withdrawal of say Rs. 1 - 1.5 lakh rupees per month after retirement. Can you make a video on how to plan, which funds to invest in to etc. For people like me. Thanks in advance!
Hi rahul thanks for the insight. You mentioned on MF house internal issue ..as far as I know if any MF HOUSE shuts down the money as per nav will be returned back to the investor as per SEBI..Can you pl let us know ..so that rather keeping same category of fund say index in two fund house we can keep in same Fund house. For other fund we will diversity..not for same category.
After 1 year people who have followed you have lost the appreciation in 2024 😢. Next 50 is the winner 🏆...pls stop misleading people. Those who agree pls like.
Can beginner investor of mutual fund invest money in debt funds of large cap???? Because Large cap gives a fixed rate of return, so is it secure return???
Put 6000 in a nifty index fund and rest in debt like ppf and assigned the portfolio in your kids name mentally. Rebalance yeary between debt equity if one of the component becomes greater so that 60:40 ratio turns lopsided. Don't bother much about tax. Do like a machine for 20 years and try your best to increase investment amount annually. That's it.
Hi sir, Is Navi ELSS Nifty fifty fund is safe to invest to save tax ? and it was launched in Feb-23 and has expense ratio of 0.1 %. What bothers me is that the AUM of this fund is 5.78 cr currently so tracking error would be high. pls share your insight on this. Shall I continue in this fund or go to the IIFL elss nifty 50 fund which has 34.4 cr AUM.
Sir would you please reply me which index fund should i choose i am confuse between icici Hdfc & Uti my age is 23+ i can invest 1k per month please sir i will be grateful to you
As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. Like spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
