I love your dad's cabin he must have been planning it for years. I would do anything to have either one of the cabins. I was in scouts growing up and almost had my Eagle scout but I ended up graduating from high school and moved to Nw Iowa to farm with my Uncle's actually a hired man and that had been my dream since 2nd grade, but in scouts I did alot of camping for various badges and our troop did atleast one weekend a month of going somewhere and camped out Friday Saturday and Sunday and came home Sunday night. I found both of your channels about 6 months ago and have been following since. I have a son in law who works for Fishing, bait, store in the Iowa great lakes and they have a breading mix that involves no egg wash kinda like shorelunch and they also have a seasoning mix that both are sold under there business name and 7 Hyvee stores locally carry it on there shelves and sell a ton of it. Joe dont ever stop filming your tent videos. I'm disabled and frankly broke. These are the only times I get to the woods and tent is when I watch your videos. It kinda feels like I'm there lol. Thanks for all you do.

Back in 2009 I met my Dad at Lake Vermillion at a resort. He had already been there for a week, just me and him. Day I got there was probably the best day of that week. Next day and for the rest of that week, it rained, wind blew and it was cool. He said to me should have been here last week. I said it doesn't matter, I came to fish an so we did. We stayed in the smaller coves and caught many Walleye, best fishing ever! Now he's gone but it's still fresh in my mind.
you said the last day was crappy because of the weather. Dude you have a place on a lake in Minnesota your dad is there your fiance is there, every day is a great day there.

Hey Joe and Melissa. Another beautiful weekend at the tent. The fishing was awesome and that fish fry looked delicious. Mac n cheese with some collard greens is always good with a fish fry lol.
ohhhh, the animals are with you! that is so great!!! We had two burmese cats that we used to take with us to our property in Canada, in Nova Scotia. In one of those trips they escaped and we never got to see them again. It was really sad, because they could not have survived the winter months there, way too cold and way too dangerous for two house cats like those two, specially since the property is surrounded by woods, lakes, bears and all kind of too tough things for house cats to understand.
I think Melissa doesn't have to TRAIN you in the least! You seem like a dream guy! You are lucky to have found each other! Enjoy your videos, keep them coming! I have to take a nap... your energy level is awesome!

My husband (high school sweetheart) of 45 years passed in Oct 2018, he had a heart condition and died from a heart attack while deer hunting. He passed peacefully in sleep at a place he loved. Between all the spring rains and moon cycle plus the moon phases, moon is at its closest in our orbits, has made spring fishing some of the best in 20 odd years up here in north east. Best of luck to you and your family from your dads cabin to your tent are just the best sir.

Dang Joe the lake and boat looks exactly like my camp...catch the same kind of fish too. Mainly pike and bass. I don't know how someone doesnt like a properly cleaned fresh pike. You take the Y bones out different but same o same o. Of course I'm straight across the big lake from you in the UP

I enjoy seeing how Melissa's Pitbulls have bonded with you. We used to a pit here and he ruled the roost at my parents farm. He would follow me and later my sons all over the farm just like your two do. Most people don't know that a pitbull raised right can be one of the best breeds you can have, brave, loyal and really gentle with people they know. My sons would ride on Jinx's back and he would turn around and lick their faces. He was a great dog.
Great story. They are very friendly and very loving dogs. Like you said.... If they know you.....The reason you have that breed is because the people you do not know Have a bit more to go through before just showing up in the yard. They are great dogs.
Nice mixed content video. Not the same ole same ole routine. Wow enough ribs for 2 meals for 2 with the potato's and veggies, enough for snacking too! Yummy, oh wow with baked instant cookies too! Wow more food! That can't be the next night, no way two could eat all that unless for breakfast, lunch and supper for 2, then all that food again! I do love my 2 veggies and a salad with meat and salad, but tiny portions of each just enough to be content. That would be leftovers for the week for me. You need a badminton or tennis net setup to burn those calories. I make my way around to many camp out video's once every month. I enjoyed this. Be back in a few months. I like variety!
