It took me all week to find a local store that carried this rum or had it in stock! It became a Mission and was quite a feeling of conquest when I finally found it, and purchased the last one and only bottle in that store! The bottle says taste it warm before you drink it chilled, so I did. Strong, but good! Nice refreshing cocktails in the making!
Of all musicians since the 1920s the only 1 who's life I'm jealous of is Sammy Hagar ,I'd of loved to have lived the life of the genius Frank Zappa but he died at 53 while Sammy is still partying at 72 years old,and looking good too ,with the mountains of Van Hagar money he has starting a rum company is like you or I tipping a $50 bill for drive thru fast food .

My wife and I recently took another vacation in Cabo. We stayed at Villa del Palmar. We always try to find something new to try and always drop in to Cabo Wabo for a beer and some chips and guac at least. So we take a taxi into town and have them drop us at CW. We walk you to the entrance and a huge bouncer stops us at the entrance and asks what we want. We tell him a couple beers. He says, there's a two appetizer minimum with drinks. Now normally I would just say fine because we normally order that anyway. However, it's just the way he said it, like it was a demand and the fact that he was turning people away. We just walked away. So I just have to ask. Sammy, did you sell Cabo Wabo, or is this how you're running your bar now?? I know Covid was tough, but this is a bit extreme for you, isn't it?

I love that post Van Halen breakup the Van Halen brothers go negative, and Sammy goes to Cabo Wabo and parties, continues to develop his tequila, then sells 80% of it for $80million. Now has his own Rum. He probably do well with that too.
