here a 48 years old Ramones fan for many many years and for me Mondo Bizarro its a GREAT GREAT album!! Anyway, I enjoy this video a lot guys :)

I loved the 'Basement' song. Dark and mysterious like an episode of 'Twilight Zone'.
Definitely wrong with a lot of facts. I’d recommend Marky Ramone’s autobiography which tells mostly everything that happened during album recording and touring. According to him, Phil Spector had guns, but never pulled it on them. He got verbal and was a lunatic toward Johnny and Dee Dee, but no guns were drawn. Road To Ruin was also produced by Tommy and drums were handled by Marky. Also CJ had no hand in the songwriting, because they used most of Dee Dee’s remaining songs for most of the late 80s and early 90s.
It kind of helps to do some research than talk out your ass when having these discussions.
I really like both Brain Drain and Mondo Bizarro. I put them with the first few albums
"Go little Camaro, go" sing Blondie as back vocal. Also, backing vocal was Pete (guitarist of The Who) in song Substitute.
As a huge Ramones fan, I respectfully deeply disagree with this list and what has been said about Mondo Bizarro, Adios Amigos and Brain Drain
Mondo Bizarro is great im really surprised its ranked so low here, even last on one list. They definitely have worse albums in my opinion. Its better than Brain Drain, Adios Amigos and Acid Eaters, especially the last two, but each to their own.
I can make an argument that its better than Animal Boy and Halfway To Sanity as well.
It definitely sounds more confident

As a longtime Ramones fan I guess I am “slightly” biased.. I love all the albums in different ways.. But I guess it’s a age thing..
I'm probably twice your ages and saw the Ramones over 30 times and agree with most of your rankings, but I have Rocket to Russia first. Leave home second. Ramones first album third. Leave home and The first album are so different. The production on Leave home is 1000 times better.
Tried to enjoy this but too much negativity. Probably not fans. " Yeah I put this one at number four and I really hate the album cover, the songs are all really stupid, etc" wtf is that. " This one is number one, I hate this too" smh
Deedee wrote some good songs for Mondo. Strength to endure and Poison Heart were the best
Leave Home gets trashed as a continuation of the first album. ....Johnny mentioned in his book that first 3 albums were meant to be continuation off all the songs that they sang in order before the first album. It was a continuation of the first album on purpose
My two least favorite are Acid Eaters and End Of The Century. Favorites? Rocket To Russia, Road To Ruin, Halfway To Sanity and Subterranean Jungle.
Oh Geez….. Road to Ruin was Marky’s first album. Tommy was the only Ramone to produce any of their albums. Although, I don’t believe he produced RtR
Tommy co-produced Road to Ruin with Ed Stasium. Joey and Richie also had a role in producing Halfway To Sanity with Daniel Rey (although the whole band are credited).
The Ramones were a band who sadly sold more T-Shirts than records.
Having Mondo Bizarro that low on your lists is just wrong. Poison Heart is one of their top 3 songs :)

how can Mike say _I'm Not Afraid Of Life_ is like Pleasant Dreams? Totally different vibe and era. I'd have never made that connection
Mike's #6 choice he cites _Hair Of The Dog_ as a standout track. I think it's ok but definitely not a classic track

Bad album covers? I think they are great! I Love: To Tough To Die and End of The Century, Subterranean Jungle album covers Then you like the worst of them all Adios Amigos? If you hate a band this much why do a ranking with them?? So stupid.

I totally disagree about thes album art. road to ruin is a great cover. rocket to Russia and the first album is like the greatest album art of all time what are you talking about. and who cares about album art. I don't appreciate how critical the guy on the left is about all these little things , critiquing road to ruin!! ahhhhh as if he can begin to understand what makes this band great. boooo go listen to hail to the thief.

Subterranean Jungle isn't a great album. Mondo Bizarro is definitely better
