@Student Zachary Maldonado those are different things
A grind stone is a machine that uses a grainy wheel for shaping/sharpening a blade
A wetstone is, well, a stone with two sides, a rougher one and a finer one (say, for example, 400 grit and 800 grain, but there are finer ones) that you spray water on top so it works better, it's also for sharpening, but it also works for making a shiny finish
@@ilovereadingwuxiaxianxiaat8994 practically, yes, but they are not the same thing. A grindstone is more for shaping bevels and sharpening the blade, a whetstone is mostly used in finishing the looks of a blade, as well as sharpening it
This wasn't even a restoration. it destroyed all the original aspects.
It’s clearly not an antique original piece you idiot
You are clearly leaving items outside in order to develop superficial rust, this channel is a monetised sham.
Props on shaping that handle with an angle grinder.
Before it's an Egyptian antique dagger now it's a new dagger make by you
I don’t care what he does it is his knife and it is out entertainment
Tell us more about this “Egyptian” dagger
Hahahahaha.
Funny that the Egyptians has rondel daggers before plate armour was invented, ain’t it
It from Egypt it's a dagger and it's sharp
"Airport art ?"
You can buy this modern POS on "Kult of Athena", on the plus side he didn't ruin an antique and actually greatly improved the original.
If it was antique though that shit is ruined ruined
Beautiful work I liked the old handle
But the new one is beautiful
Remaking an Egyptian style dagger? Better title
And now it is no longer a antique dagger you messed up
It's never been an antique dagger

Thats Not A Restoration, Thats A **Transformation** 😂😂😂
Just to clarify something.
antique≠ancient
and Egypt is still a country today.
and modern replica ≠ antique
WONDERFULLY DONE
I really cannot believe that this chap feel he has 'restored' an ancient dagger ! He has completely destroyed it, rendering it totally valueless. Yet, from his comment, he is actually patting himself on the back fro a 'job well done '. Unbelievable.
should change the channel name to "Will do anything for views"
Greg Ward Those are the chick RUclips’s and there are plenty of those.
What did you guys expect from a guy that restored a viet/chinese dao and called it a katana?
what's next an actual mummy?
dude awesome work don’t listen to anyone else your amazing
It’s a fake dagger which he bought from an Indian knife company, then let it rust for a few weeks and “restored” it. The style of knife isn’t even Egyptian its from medieval Europe. This RUclipsr is a fraud.
@@feeney0309 ok cool
@@gleamingeye4101 just thought you should know because this 'awesome dude' is faking his videos and misleading people into thinking they can restore antique items when they shouldn't ever do that
Not sure what the white part of the handle is but it looks good. You basically had to redo everything and couldn't even save the old handle. Great job.
The correct title is "antique egypcian dagger- impresive customozation, restor is make it be like new, make it different is customize
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 YoU know

Did you go to a government school?
@@dennisschaaf8813 i'm Brazilian, and yes, i passed all of my life studing in a school like this, why?
Either autocorrect is malfunctioning on you or you might want to study English a bit more.😁
Many comments remarking "useless" worthless" "POS". That is silly. The knife has value. If you are attacked by a knife wielding maniac, you would want this knife.
*Stab* *Stab* That’ll teach you, sprite a’bottle, making a’fun of ma’s spaghetti!!!
A real man does it without power tools.
This was impressively gut wrenching to watch.
Nice vidya, i'm disappointed about the handle, as stylish it is, it doesn't deserve well this blade imo.
The Dagger at the end looks beautiful to me atleast
“I say I-I-I I I I want the kniiiiiiiiiife!”
Pleeease!
Is that from "the golden child" Eddie Murphy? Such a good movie
Nice work please give it to me it's amazing how craftsmen made these without power tools
I think it looks much better with his designs than what I image it looked like originally. Kudos
It’s fake
Hi, I have an antique Egyptian dagger, First thing I'll do is mash it with a claw hammer...
He misspelled Pakistan in the title lmao
Rh: mercilessly attacks water bottle
Me: O.O.....RH, R u okay?
