- I head to Wales to see a good friend of mine and try to catch Bass on lures from some of the most beautiful coastlines I've ever seen!!

Nice one ! I love that low tide up fishing on Spring tides as the Bass work thier way up the tide. I can imagine your drones usefull to spot fishy areas too ? Do you use it to find fish holding features ? Great bit of Bassing.

It's always hard to get through the mackerel at the worm. Used to hook the odd 2 lbs mackerel now and then but the bass get fixated on them while the food is there
That looked like hard work! Well done on the bass....all marks are different but I’ve always done better on a flooding tide for bass, and given that weather I’d have been up at 4am, fished till 10am, breakfast, bed, late lunch/ dinner and fishing at 7pm till midnight....... better in lower light

There are only 2 places I fish on the whole of the Gower in south Wales
1..... Whitford point , in front of the old lighthouse low water all the way to high
2.... Rhossilli causeway same again.
The lures I use are pearl sidewinders 10 cm and savage line through sandeels 18 grams

So the theory is if there not there at low they wont be there at high??
Not necessarily... Each individual mark you fish is different, but with the info we was given on those marks, and the fact they were big Spring tides, our best shot was gonna be over low water.
All that editing and you didn’t show playing and landing the fish in? Would of been good..!!
Should have avoided the afternoon, and fished at night.

@@nrthws105 well obviously you are stupid, its not always a bad thing to show people good marks because beginners like yourself could go and try it for a bit of fun, and because you've been doing it "for 10 years" doesn't mean you can tell the weight of a fish through a video

I was disappointed with this video as too much fathing around with fields and horses etc. The drone was a great idea to your video." but keeping it in with the sport . IE, keep to the shore line and the sea. Also I would of like you to explain what gear you were using" and to see how u worked the lure. Also that was a beautiful bass you got."but would of been nice to see you hook and land it. But we'll done.
