Just watched your informative video on fitting new brake shoes and springs on the subject I've got a question to ask you. Today I went to adjust my brakes on my Lil grey ns adjusted perfectly yet the os the square headed adjuster just spins don't matter which way you turn it freely any idea before I strip it all down
Hi Jon, thanks for reaching out. Well that ain’t right! 🤣 It could be a few things but none of them can be dealt with without stripping it down. Most likely is that the gear teeth are worn or stripped. Of course you’ll need to determine why, is something else seized? Good luck and if you get stuck let me know, happy to try to help as best I can. 👍😉
@@WaterhouseForde hi team , I’ve got the same problem with my tea20 I’m restoring the brake adjusters are worn where the dog turns , old brass type. Can not find Anyone who sells new ones , do you know of any, I’ve seen the later type advertised for the tea models but not sure if they would work , any help would be appreciated mark in New Zealand .
Thanks for this, just putting my '51' brakes back together now.

Hi Tom, thanks for your comment. We’re glad you found it useful. 👍😉
