I have prediabetes. I use Levels to see how foods affect me, change my diet, and I am on the path towards reversing prediabetes. In July 2023 my A1C was 6.2%, in October 2023 it was 6.0%, and in December 2023 it was 5.9%. The Levels APP allows me to see the correlations between certain foods, exercise, and my blood sugar. I look forward to CGMs being sold over-the-counter in the USA (like in Mexico) and the price reduced.

I use veri cgm. I use it to check in on how different foods, sleep, timing of meals, and workouts are affected by my diet. My husband wears it at the same time as me. Now I have a quarterly plan just to check whenever we have changed our diet like more meat, less meat, no wheat, grain free, whole grain, etc. I learned that with most whole foods that are paired well did not spike our blood sugar. Its Super informative!!! It's so great that you tried this Rachel!!! :)

Very interesting. I wonder if there's a difference in glucose levels in TAM vs. walking and other activities. Thanks for looking into this and sharing! (And very glad you're feeling better!)

      Thank you!!!!
There’s gotta be something to these low intensity activities and managing blood sugar. Ate a good amount of carbs yesterday but bc I walked so much I didn’t spike!

Nice video, I use Libre2 with the Blucon device to track real-time readings, set alarms, food insights, and more. These features have significantly improved my ability to manage my glucose levels effectively.

That’s fantastic!!!! I would love to compare the pricing of Bluecon to Levels. Love levels but it’s pricey!

I’ve been learning a lot lately on how THE AMOUNT of the meal greatly effects the spike in glucose. Thanks for your insights. It’s seems to concur

I may ask for one for Christmas lol I have a prick your finger type and I've noticed smaller meals throughout the day help instead of an OMAD or 2MAD for sure. It would also help me with what foods I don't tolerate well (like histamine foods). Like I think I can tell but I would like the data to back up my intuition. Lol Plus, since atm I'm doing ketoAF (high fat carnivore basically) I really want to know if it's working to bring down those numbers so that hopefully I'm doing the whole ketone production thang 😜 But I'm cheap and I want to stick with this for awhile before investing in all that stuff so it'll be a reward. Did you find certain foods spiked your levels at all? And walking it out helps??

Have you read “The Glucose Revolution” by Jessie Inchauspe? Great information

I’ve been on the fence. If I did it it would be to see how well I am doing with the Intuitive Eating. I’d be curious as to whether or not my Interoceptive Awarness is on point. Interoceptive Awareness is the ability to perceive physical sensations that arise from within your body. Interoceptive Responsiveness the way I value and respond to these sensations. In other words, it would be determine whether or not I do okay without a glucose monitor telling me this and that. 🤣

I've been wanting to try this just to see how certain foods affect me - didn't even think of coffee! My dad has one cause he's diabetic

What’s great is I have found even a year later it’s been one of the best things I have ever done! I need to make another video on the topic soon!

Interesting. Is anyone aware of a CGM that also measures ketones?
