- Eriana's Vow just went nuts! Ignitions on breaking matching shields or anti barrier shields. Add in Ember of ashes, eruption and char to cook your enemies well done! Reminds me of Solar 3.0 days.. oh man I missed these ignitions soo much.

i find it strange that we got a special ammo exotic hand cannon years ago, but then got special ammo legendary sidearms before special legendary hand cannons, feels like a missed opportunity imo
I agree, i think Bungo will come with this in the future
With the success of the sidearms I bet we'll start seeing more special versions of other usually normal primary types.
Technically we got legendary special ammo sidearms back in 2015 😝

me too! i used it a lot in solar 3.0 and last season with rays of precision
Only downside is it takes too many shots to stun a barrier
timing is key you can do it 1/2 just gotta time it when the shield regens. But yea fair comment
I feel like it took 3 in GMs. 2 wouldn’t be the worst. But how does a primary bow break in one shot, and a special can’t :(

Damn. Reading the title, I was hoping for a reason to use it outside of its anti-barrier role. I really like it as a special since it's sort of a happy medium between the short-range utility of shotguns and fusion rifles and the long-range precision utility of sniper rifles; but it looks like I won't be pulling it out of the vault as a permanent part of my loadout after all.
3 shots to break a barrier is crazy
i love this gun for pvp (before the special ammo changes) but this adds some value to it. i just wish it could also cause an ignition for any shield break.

this is huge for getting the catalyst done, if you can find a place with maybe lots of shanks or something like that
This either needs more ammo reserves or hit harder. There's no point in using it when Rocket sidearms exists. Don't get me wrong i would love to use it i got 20k pve kills on it and its sexy af lol, but its so powered crept that not even the ignition changes going to do anything that would make people want to run it.
For lower end stuff it's probably better, as for higher end stuff.. I'll still take arbalest as it one shots the entire shield..
It doesnt even oneshot shields on the lowest tier of nightfalls
All the solar shields tho... not just barriers don't forget

Unfortunately it’s still not nearly good enough to run. Friends and I jokingly ran 3 outbreaks into a master nightfall last night. Notoriously difficult Glassway. Quite literally walked through it without anyone using a heavy or special weapon. With pulse being barrier there’s no need for eriana’s or arbalest. Our fireteam was 1980, master NF is 2010 I believe. Easiest Glassway run I’ve ever had.
No, you did not take down two wyverns at a time in a master nightfall with just outbreak. Unless you mean that your ability’s did most of the work and the only weapon you shot was outbreak. I can believe that.
No, I mean we took down absolutely everything with three outbreaks. We stood outside in the middle and cooked the ads as they teleported in before they got too close to us and then hid in left room to take down the rest a little slower. We suspended overloads and whatnot but the bulk of the damage on everything was done by outbreak. I had outbreak and no hesitation on, and an edge transit that I didn’t even pull out. It’s absurd.
Not really sure where your certainty comes from. We ran it 3 times last night, once on each difficulty, didn’t think we’d get very far with just outbreak in the second two. But walked through it like it was nothing.
@@josephsmith2417 Outbreak is REDICULOUSLY strong. I've seen a clip of one person absolutely shredding an overload champion with outbreak alone while being *50 power* under. I don't have trouble imagining that three people with outbreak would be able to nuke a wyvern.

Ya in very specific places in the game. Still hard to use all the time cuz you need a lot of solar shields to be worth. I love this gun tho

No, antichampion built-in properties are higher than artifact mods.
however, if a weapon can inflict an elemental effect that stuns champions (freeze, electric charge, electric blind from Overture's micro-missiles or a charged shot from Touch of Malice), then this is combined with artifact modifiers.

The best anti barrier in the game is wish ender. Idk why no other anti barrier hits that well. It kinda makes everything else obsolete 🤦♂️
