    YEARS ago, they used to put the gators in the boats head up. So when they came in people saw how many heads of gators were caught. It was really impressive.

    Those gators are such majestic beasts of the water.... armored and scaled and frightening...sad to see them dragged around by the metal forklift like that... man and his dominance over the beasts of the water...

    Troy is breaking a lot of his rules here he’s wrapped the line around his hand or I thought he did and his partner had a clear shot for about 10 seconds at the very beginning of this catch and he totally let it slip away

      The only use the stomach skin of each alligator so, the meat is actually worth more for guys like this who aren't farming, they are hunting real gators, from nature. The farm raised gators are huge, that's who they are competing with, could make the hunting/selling natural fresh caught gators industry go down hill very quick, and will continue to as have an impact the longer time goes on... This is an echo of many other industries, farmers, nope it's huge warehouses full of animals who are fattened up to the max, the bigger and quicker the better, the list goes on and on and on. It's our job to support the people

      It's a 30 day season once per year. There is also a specific number of tags for specific property.

    Why would you hunt alligators, that are dangerous, bigger, harder to catch and make you less money than pythons? I mean a record breaking gator brings you 350$, which is an average python according to this channel.

      @@robertevans8024 Well they are descendants of the french and have an whole language of their own cajun-french, older people especially speak it alot this is where their accent most likely comes from.

There is information that they are basically all related to each other because of where they came from in France and moving to Canada and Louisiana. Close knit and isolated to the point of inbreeding. They carry a gene that when the mother and father carry it there is a 1in 4 chance of the child being born with usher syndrome. Also something called kay-sach's disease. You learn something new everyday. 🤔👍🕊️🙏💖💯
