    No surprise that the first rider in the mudhole will have the best results. Anyone following him has to deal with loose mud and tire trenches. Do it again with the CFORCE going first.

    I have to be honest and say I didn't really know that much about CFMOTO. I knew MSC was selling them, and a lot of them. The more I learn about them and the more videos I watch, the more impressed I've become. I'm seriously considering CFMOTO for my next ATV.

    I bought a CFMoto 800 ATV 2 years ago. At this time I am 69 years old and I would like to put in my 2 cents worth regarding this machine. I chose the C-Force for the looks, power, (Don't know what you would do with more than 62 HP), Price and features, especially the 2 rider ability and the power steering. With the comfort and overall ease of operation I can keep up with guys half my age. I grew up riding dirt bikes so I ain't no slouch. You all know the positives of these machines if you have looked into them at all but there are some negatives that I have experienced. They are: the electrics on it suck big time. right out of the box I had a overheating problem. Dealer had no clue, ( he's an idiot but only 10 miles away). I found the problem myself that it was the little chain attached to the radiator cap was jumping around making contact with the + battery cable blowing the cooling fan fuse. Next, Here in western Maryland there is no lack of mud which requires a lot of hosing off after about every ride. My right tail light filled with water causing it to corrode terribly inside and now it is junk, doesn't work at all. Side mounted reflectors got ripped off the first ride because the CFMoto is wide and they would catch on everything. Why would they put the Hand brake on the right side ? Your right hand already has enough to do with the throttle and switching into and out of 4WD. I'm moving the hand brake to the left like my brothers Suzuki, (Where it belongs). What the heck is up with the gear selector? Man they really have got to redesign this set-up.Instead of cable operation. it should be metal rods for gear selector operation or better still hydraulics operating the gear lever. Hey Mr. engineer how about an electronic paddle shifter? Next, It is impossible to smoothly throttle up this monster because it sticks closed ever so slightly causing it to nearly buck you off like a raging bull when it starts to go. Here again, another cable operated system that should be up dated to the 21st century. I guess I can correct most of the things that really aggravate me but why should I have to? I still like my CFMoto but I would like it a lot more if the factory had done a better job of design and assembly.

    I set up Can-Ams the last 7 years. Recently the CFMOTO came in as that's all we can get due to COVID-19. The CFMOTO were all assembled way better than the Outlander quads. Outlander took a extra 2 hrs just to go through checking up and torquing up fasteners. CFMoto were absolutely perfect except for the 2 hr assembly time vs 3/4 hrs for Outlander.

I can’t ride anymore but my boys ride and my dad rides it as well it is the preferred machine. My dad being 64 loves how smooth it is smoother then his 850 which is plush I thinks it’s the longer wheel base and trailing arm suspension. Polaris has an answer to it they used the rear Angeled a arms on their i think it was predator 525 independent rear suspension model. Instead of the a arms going straight up and down the arms were angled towards. The back so the wheel would move back and up instead of out and up creating a smoother ride.

      @RealTalkPowersports  4 года назад +3

      I'm talking to my local shop now and seeing what exhaust options are out there that are made specifically for the 500.
      I havent found any.
      I know there is a good UNI air filter option for the 500. But with adding a high flow air filter and a aftermarket exhaust is only gonna give you maybe 1 or 2 more HP gain at the wheels and will make it louder.
      I would like to look into getting a more aggressive clutch kit for it. I think that will make a bigger improvement over the exhaust and air filter.

    Although this looked like great fun, every shootout should have the same class engine, same tires. In my area there are far too many used Can Am, of all sizes, for sale. This makes me a little leery to buy one. Are they getting beaten or are they not reliable? The sellers give flimsy answers why? And the Can Am is way overpriced.

    I see a few things here, first you have to compare, price, with price, I mean 600 cfmoto doesn't have by close the same hp than a 650 can am, second When pilots enter the pot, can am rider doesn't hesitate, both cfmoto, they were Kind of trying to get stuck, so pilot its very important, besides can am is two cylinder, cfmoto from 600 cc and below are single cylinder.

    • @RealTalkPowersports
      @RealTalkPowersports  4 года назад +2

      Yes that's very true. 850 outlander cost a few thousand more and almost twice the horsepower.
      Also the pilots / drivers of the CFmotos were just being careful. First time for us to really push them and we didnt want to break anything. But as we gain confidence in what they can do, we will push them harder and hit the holes faster like the canam driver.

      I've owned canam and Polaris and honda.. but havent got my hands on a yamaha yet.. but they have all been good to me. They all do something better than the other.. but they also all have weak points and their own issues that end up having to get fixed within a year.
      Before I went In the direction of trying out cfmoto; I was very nervous.. but the majority of the people that had newer model CFMOTOs were having no real serious issues and were enjoying them. So I decided to try them out and I was shocked by how much cheaper they are than everything I've ever bought. And so far they have shown no issues. The build quality is just as good as the competition and fit and finish even seems better than some I've owned before.
