When I had the fundage, and hunted for it, I couldn't find a single LBP. Maybe I could've if I'd run all over town, but I'm not going to spend all that time, energy, and gas chasing around on what might be a wild goose chase. Besides, I got a number of good bottles over that two weeks. 🙂
You know how jealous I am of you right now? I've heard nothing but great things about that release. Of course, I can't find it down here in Birmingham. I did find the A124 release today at a very nice convenience store/liquor store combo- they wanted $118 for it so I said "no thanks".
Had the neck pour (and a couple more) of a B524 tonight. Very nice. Spicy like A124, but more balanced. When tried head to head with last year's B523, the 523 brings more cherry and funk. Haven't seen the a Elijah Craig B524 yet, but these Larceny B524 are available at $5-10 over MSRP in KCMO right now. Definitely worth grabbing one to sip and one for later.
I think the larceny a and b are better than ec a and b ao far this year. I would say the ec b524 is better than the a124 though, but not by much. If youre an ec fan you would definitely enjoy it, but if you can get only one get the larceny imo.
