How can you remove this new aero kit cover? (Not the original ones)

I think because of the color, I prefer the older version. Plus you see more of the rim with 1.0 which I think is a good thing.

Honestly, I agree with you. I just wish the lug covers were more secure and a bit more attractive. But seeing more of the rim is a big advantage because it looks good. The strange thing is that if you look at just about any other wheel on a modern mid-range to high-end car, the lugs are exposed, but use more attractive hardware, so they don't need a cover. Tesla's approach is a bit odd in the automotive world, needing to cover its ugly lugs!

Is the center cap on this aero kit removable?

The old ones look better, color matches AND the rim looks some how bigger.

How can I buy this official Model3 wheel cap kit? I am from New Zealand, and I cannot make an order from the Tesla US website. But I really like this one. Please

Thanks for the video. How are they safely removed?

Good question - while I haven't tried, these can be removed the same way as the standard Aero wheels. You need to apply a firm tug on two sides to disengage the clip in the middle.

The mismatch of colors sucks pretty hard. Looks cheap.

Attach some a12x25 rotors to it, so it can cool the brakes 😅

I think Noctua does actually supply some fans to the auto industry, not sure about the brakes though!

@@TheTechBuyersGuru yeah. I actually don't mind the rim hubs, they look elegant. Sure, pure al rim look is nice, but they just tie the design and look aerodinamic

The standard hubcaps actually do improve the efficiency of the vehicle, adding a few miles of range per charge!

I love them. The Cap Kit 1.0 looks so cheap and it is less aerodynamic. Despite the new ones are made in black they fit really good to those rims. You guys should watch it in the real life.
