By the time you get to Halo Infinite, there'll probably be season 3. It includes the custom games browser which will make the best gameplay ever in the series. Also read a book or two if you're that type of person.

The only "glory days" you're talking about is multiplayer stuff
Or what I’ll say is start with the MCC first it’s fantastic . Halo 4 is ok but the other content is top tier . Worst one imo is halo 5

Oh bit of an update you might wanna know if you dont already, 343 in an interview with ign confirmed that split screen is NOT cancelled, just shelved, and theres a lot of hints in what he says that after they have more manpower not dedicated to damage control, they'll finish off the 20% left for split screen. No promises made, but it really sounds like that will come eventually.
Shelved indefinitely without any plan to pursue it sounds pretty Fing canceled to me.
@@robertellis9750 they specifically said that it's only shelved *right now*. Also shelved =/= cancelled. Shelved by definition MEANS they want the opportunity to return to it, they just can't.
but will they actually come back to it? given all the stuff they already need to do.

im tired of people saying 343 have finally done it or have brought halo back now. This game still has less features than halo reach had at launch. 343 hasnt done anything but fuck w halo for over a decade. All they did was give us the tools so that we can make like thanos and "do it ourself"
I feel like there's an important distinction to make between "bringing back Halo" and "finally pushing out a good Halo Infinite update"
343 did a good update but they aint done shit to save Halo
@@crustbound yeah really disappointing, a step in the right direction but a step that is a year too late. I hung on all the way up to Infinite too. My ass was out here enjoying halo 4 and 5 multiplayer for what they were. But this game’s multiplayer barely functions. And then the realization that 343 has been fuckin up for over a decade set in and its like enough is enough 😭
One of the MP leads mentioned Action Sack was gonna be a more Forge focused playlist, and on controller at least there are different control schemes. Even one that mimics Reach's own.
And the Custom Game Browser arrives March.

@@crustbound its in the "Tool Settings" (far right after you open up the Forge Menu) under "Control". I think "Recruit" is Halo Reach's control scheme, and it removes some of the new stuff you can do.
I am a bit salty they removed Bot Bootcamp. It was a great way to grind through the more tedious parts of the battle passes. But I can see how removing this feature can funnel unskilled players (me) into the actual game where enemies will never act the way bots do anyways.
Yeah, there is a possibility of people never interacting with actual multiplayer but: who cares? If people find it fun why does it matter if they're unskilled yknow
Bot Bootcamp's removal will likely mean I'll play a lot less. It's pretty much the only way I could find a game in the morning in Australia. I found 1 game of BTB in 1 hour this morning even though it said the wait time was 45 seconds. I just went and played in training mode for 0XP.

I'm really not sure the winter update has changed much for me on a daily basis. I really don't like either of the new maps which is fine, because they hardly show up in matchmaking. Progression is better for sure but it's a long way from being finished. The 30 tier battle pass was over for me without even really trying so I think they have some tuning to do on XP rewards. Mucking around in forge is fun and all the stuff people have been making is incredible. The winter update is a decent update but let's keep grounded....there's long way to go yet

Bot Bootcamp is gone. Should've gone a step further by identifying players who used that mode exclusively and suspend them from daily challenges until the Winter Update battle pass is over.

Why the fuck did they remove infection? It’s free feedback on the game mode WHILE YOU ARE DEVELOPING THE GAMEMODE it would prevent issues people have with the mode before release
It's not gone yet, as far as I know. One time where 343's slow pace at changing things is a W lol

Honestly I give you mad props for watching the Vid. That was a cool gesture. It’s more about what Halo was, and sadly will never be. Although the video was made by someone literally half my age. All these elements are now absent from the current game. If your a younger player and you enjoy it. Then very cool, have fun and “you do you” don’t let other’s opinions: including my own turn you away from something you enjoy. But halo 1 launched in 2001 and some of use older bucks were there to experience all the majesty and glory when it felt fresh and exciting. 20 plus years later and with a chain of disappointing releases. It’s to little to late. BTW forge was always cool since
2007 when it launched in Halo 3 alongside the games release

@@crustbound halo infinite has a more simple ui with clear instructions. Halo 5 also has instructions but they’re hard to find.
Halo multiplayer is absolute garbage and I'm just not the biggest fan of the franchise, that being said I find Infinites campaign to be alright.
Iv played this game a fair bit now and honestly it doesn't feel that good to play even when I'm having a good game the maps are just so crap the atmosphere is dead and the maps don't even look good either and there's no map voting it doesn't even feel like an halo game and what ever they done to that battle rifle fuck my life if the game loads me in with that I don't even want to play it takes forever to kill someone now so much so the right side of my hand is killing me and I didn't even find it over powered before they nerfed it I want to like halo but since 343 start making them I can't even enjoy them the power weapons ain't even that good I remember shot guns one shot kill and jumping around with a sword etc but now it's just people driving a vehicle or sat together shooting across the maps at you with a rifle or sniper it's so boring some maps feel too big and some are just symmetrical boring arse maps I remember halo reach where you had maps like countdown which had 2 floors and maps like reflections where everyone would fight to be at the top of the elevator and another they took assassinations out of the game it just doesn't feel like halo anymore
Im glad they took assassinations out tbh, they're fun to do but killing the assassination tower gametype is all things considered a win imo
