I was over here yesterday, on April 5th, on March 23rd and on February 4th. I love this area. It's literally a busfest over here, with MTA and NICE, and the LIRR overhead makes it a great place for a busfanning/railfanning doubleheader!

I remember when Jamaica had several private bus lines, Schnek, Queens Surface Transit, Green Bus lines plus some more back in the 1960s Mad Men era.

CNG buses are no longer bought from MTA and are banned due to high risk of death and injury if in case of a disaster

Smart move, there are a lot of bus fires in the mta, and I think most of them were cng buses
