Why is everyone hating on his drumming on this album? HE PURPOSLEY MADE THE DRUMS SIMPLE!! The band was aiming for that old school feel.. where bands like Pantera, Iron maiden, Metallica, GNR used a lot more simple fills and bass patterns. The band told him to strip down to the basics and make it a raw rock album. Which in my opinion, it was. Especially shepherd of fire and this means war.. and Hail to the king...and Heretic. haha
He is such a sweetheart. Not to mention an awesome drummer. Thanks to him, one of my most favorite a7x songs is 'shepherd of fire.' Just the loud thundering drums, tolling bells, blaring horns, sick guitar beats, and beautiful vocals. It just makes it all work. To top it all off, the video isn't that bad either. I've read that their next album doesn't come out til like 2016 or something like that. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long. Of course, it's already 2015, so I imagine the year will just fly by and it'll be worth the wait. Great job guys, especially you arin.♡♡♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆
I love the hug he gave that one girl and he's like "thank you. Thank you so much". It shows hes loving what he's doing. What people need to realize is that, Arin isn't replacing Jimmy. No one could ever replace Jimmy. Arin is filling in for Jimmy. Jimmy will forever be in our hearts and that will never change. Arin is clearly loving what he's doing and hes not being douchey about it and that's a great thing to have when your just starting out.
I met this guy arlier this year after a show. He is one of the nicest guys I've met. He doesn't act like he's better than anyone. He actually talks to and cares about the fans. Welcome Arin!!!!

This vid makes me respect him raking the place so much more..avenged doesn't want a big name for a drummer that is why they didn't stay with mike. They wanted someone fresh that can start their own new life in music..arin is a good drummer..and he's improved dramaticaly since he started..I hope they hang on to him..he's a good fit for the guys..his story totally reminds me of the movie rockstar haha

And as they said in interviews they want to continue not only because they love what they do, but that they want to keep spreading Jimmys legacy. He is filling in as their drummer since Jimmy is not longer with us in this world. It was either to quit or get someone to fill and keep spreading their music and Jimmys legacy.
Arin is going to fit perfectly in avenged sevenfold, although he isn't jimmy but no one can replace him . He was both great in A7x and pinkly smooth. we all miss him, not as hard as his family and bandmates but still the fans miss jimmy. Yeah he is pretty nice I met him two days ago after a concert I was playing at if you are curious how I met him it's because his dad is my guitar teacher so he introduced me to him because he was able to come to the concert on Saturday and during the concert he playyed the drums for one song with his old friends and if you ask what song it was Jimi Hendrix all along the watchtower I thought he did a awesome job

I don´t care if he´s not as good as jimmy,because he tries to keep jimmy alive. If you see him play you can see that he does everything he can to look as much a possible on the rev. And I think it´s better that a drummer who is a fan of jimmy, and also has much talent takes over. Then just someone regular. If there would be now one who would be good enough,who then could keep the torch buring burning?? Besides without a new drummer jimmy would died in vain for sure. Now he lives on in the music.
