Nice video and grats on the nice rig. Very nice spot you caught. To bad you couldn't find more of them. Maybe next trip. Lookin forward to see were you're goin next. Tightlines=Goodtimes. 👍🍻🎣
Hey Aaron, thanks for watching! It’s definitely a lot of fun to fish the tournaments. Everyone is pretty cool in the yakabass community and willing to help when you’re ready. Tight lines!
Thanks for the video, it's been over 5 years since I fished Oroville (used to live in Paradise before the Camp fire took most of what we had, and we moved). The first fish we would have called an "Oroville Rat", there's thousands of them out there. I saw you were fishing the "meat wall" across from the marina and looked like you were up the N. branch at "Chitters cove" when you landed the 2+. Never cared much for the float n fly method, caught most of my fish on a 4" or 6" Robo in 20' to 30' (this time of year) of water using 3/16ths to 1/4 once jig head ((style is up to your degression). My choice is either a worm head (90*-3/0 hook) or same weight ball head ((2/0-60* hook). The Ketec 4" swim bait in the shad color also works well. I used to own Paradise Tackle Co. Good luck on Folsom!
Hey Bruce, thanks for watching! I’m sorry you lost your house. Haven’t mastered Lake Oroville yet, with only fishing here only twice before the tournament. But it’ll grow on me I’m sure. Appreciate some of the juice for Lake Oroville. Tight lines!
Woohoo 🙌 float and fly for the win. Good catches Wayne. Good luck to you on the next one. I’m going to have to cue bad ass music also when I use the head lol. That was hilarious😅 you should have shown a waterfall from the ravines as As an edit. lol 😝 you’re doing really good man. I’m rooting for all of you guys.
Great vid Wayne. Pretty cool using the bobber and worm technique. Maybe put some corn on next time lol. Nah that sheet is deadly. Keep the good stuff rolling and good luck at Folsom!
Thanks for watching diehard! Love the float n fly, definitely adding it to my arsenal. Hahaha, don’t wanna catch those carp lol. See you at the next one!
