Try soaking sliced onions in ice water for 15 to 30 mins, takes the sharpness out of them, cuz I don’t care too much for raw onions but doing this really helps, and red onions are sweeter
I had a loss of appetite abt 3 years back and just recently got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis which, ironically, brought my long lost appetite back tenfold and my #1 food right now is a tuna sandwich with sweet pickles. So so good, I’m gonna make one for breakfast in the morning 😌

The pickles have the perfect crunch! Not too sour and not too spicy. Just the perfect pickle for me!! You really need to try them! Brand is grillos and my fav are the spicy ones! You can find the reg dill ones at Costco but the spicy ones are sold at reg stores

I‘m obsessed with a tuna tomato cucumber salad rn, just cut up one cucumber, some cherry tomatoes & a can of tuna in a bowl. Normally I buy canned tuna in water but for that I take the one in sunflower oil so I can use that for the dressing - makes it extra flavourful! I put some of the oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper & a little bit of sugar & you have the simplest & best salad 😍 Rly helped me get my appetite back after Covid too!!
