I totally agree. Now, I don't hate Liz per se, but it just kills me that Liz and Carly can make mistake after mistake and NEVER apologize for anything, but god forbid Sam makes a mistake and she's trash. Oh how quickly we forget that had it not been for Sam, Morgan and Kristina would not have been found after Faith kidnapped them and everyone would STILL believe that Michael was dead. No one gives Sam credit for all the good she's done but they love to throw her mistakes up in her face.

First, Jason wasn't being coldhearted when he broke up with Sam. He was trying to protect her from being shot again. He said so clearly many times and there's no reason to think he was lying. Second of all, what Jason did with Liz was a mistake. I'm not trying to deny it or lessen it, but he was hurt. Sam was also hurt when she made HER mistakes. I'm not trying to blame everything on Jason OR Sam, but rather trying to get people to see that neither is blameless.

However, the destruction of JaSam occurred during the writers strike and whoever filled in did a horrible job. Sam tried EVERYTHING to make Jason come back to her and he kept pushing her away. But once the writers wrote it that way, that means it happened. If we are going to discuss them as if they were real people, we can't blame their mistakes on "the writers". Going by that method, Jason's mistakes are all the writers' fault too. And Sam doesn't get credit for any of the good things she did.
