Ok first of all this is for development. If a NBA scout saw a high school player vs a high school player playing overseas... I mean kinda looks like that would develop him more. Second of course he will struggle overseas! You got people that are now in the NBA that came from overseas right? Hold up you got players, coaches, trainers, even GMs, and agents. Third. I just don't get it. Most people with talented kids take them to a prep school to learn fundamentals and some discipline. The middle son wasn't good enough to play at UCLA.. so I understand moving him. But not to Lithuania lol.. I was think more along the lines of Holy Cross or UCF. The youngest son actually could be a good guard, but allowing him to shot from half court is absurd. His high school games were the perfect example of this kid having too much freedom under their dad. If Lamelo would have enrolled in a top prep school like mount Verde or Oak Hill Academy he would have been an excellent d1 player and probably would have been drafted into the NBA

Many people in Lithuania speaks english, only older people around 60years they don't. Its not that cold, summers are about 20+ celsius and its january(second month of winter) and the temperature is 5celsius. So don't trash talk if you don't know. Coach is speaking enough to understand, teammates also so Gelo and Melo are communicating with them well.

I am Lithuanian and I don't understand why u so negative. However, I agree that 16 years old boy go to the college, not start pro carrer. The players actually are not so "heavy". I checked leading team and it is at 200-250 pounds. For sure nobody is going to let them shoot at 33% accuracy. Also, they still have to adapt to Europe playing style.
You keep bringing up how Melo shoots 30 footers.. If youve ever watch a Chino Hills or BBB game thats how there system is run.
