Donavan played 2 years in college. Like Kuz, they have more experience playing. Zo is basically 1 year removed from high school and entered at 19. Most of the 1 and dones are struggling vs the players who were in college a few more years. Even saying that, Zo is the youngest player in NBA history to have a triple double 2 TIMES to surpass Lebron James record. He weighs 190 pounds. He doesn't even have his NBA body and he is doing this. Imagine when he gets to be 22 and much bigger and taller. He grew an inch over the summer and is now 6'7. Donavan is 6'3. Donavan already has his NBA body and height 6'3. Zo is still growing and has pimples. I don't care if Donavan wins ROY. I see Zo like Giannis. The finish product has yet to be seen. It was very uncharacteristic for Zo to score 29 points. Zo's purpose on the Lakers is to be the general and control the game. Donavan's goal on Utah is just to score. Even saying that, Lonzo leads the Lakers in almost every category. Steals, Blocks, Rebounds, and Assist. Zo is the only rookie, outside of Ben Simmons, who is really a 2nd year player, to have 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.1 points, 1.5 steals, and 0.9 blocks. No other rookie, from his class, has those across the boards stats like Zo. Not Tatum, Not Donavan, Not Dennis Smith Jr, Not Josh Jackson, Not Fox, Not Fultz (who is the #1 pick). Zo is the best all around player in this draft and it's not even close. It's the reason he became the youngest player with a triple double and has skirted with triple doubles in almost every game. Zo has had 3 games of 5 steals, 2 games of 4 blocks. Donavan hasn't done anything like that. Zo has blocked Porzingiz, Embiid, Harden, Wall, Jordan, and many more. how you gonna say that ben simmons gets the team involved more? Donovan literally runs the entire Utah offense due to his position at point guard when ricky is out. ben plays small forward he never has to run the offense.
I have and half and a few times he does bring the ball down but yet again most of the time he is chilling at a wing position waiting for the ball to come into him. You look at Donovan and he is the definition of clutch. he is the go to for a last minute buzzer beater where as ben simmons who is strong down low can shoot a shot for the life of him and that limits his ability for the team and himself considerably.

Donavan played 2 years in college. Like Kuz, they have more experience playing. Zo is basically 1 year removed from high school and entered at 19. Most of the 1 and dones are struggling vs the players who were in college a few more years. Even saying that, Zo is the youngest player in NBA history to have a triple double 2 TIMES to surpass Lebron James record. He weighs 190 pounds. He doesn't even have his NBA body and he is doing this. Imagine when he gets to be 22 and much bigger and taller. He grew an inch over the summer and is now 6'7. Donavan is 6'3. Donavan already has his NBA body and height 6'3. Zo is still growing and has pimples. I don't care if Donavan wins ROY. I see Zo like Giannis. The finish product has yet to be seen. You haven't seen the finish product. Zo is easily the best all around player in this draft. Yes he is having issues scoring now but he is doing exactly what Brandon Ingram did last year as the worse shooting rookie as he came in the league at 18. I predict when it's all said and done, Zo will a better player than Donavan. Donavan may be a better scorer but not a better player. Zo has had an NBA game of 16 REBOUNDS, has a game high 13 assist playing with no superstar like Ben Simmons has Embiid. Zo has 2 games of at least 4 blocks. Has had 3 games of at least 5 steals. Zo is a point guard not a shooting guard like Donavan. Zo and Donavan have 2 different roles on their teams. Magic got Zo to get his team involved in offense not to score. In the game where Zo had 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assist against the Suns, the team thought he played selfish scoring and not distributing. It was very uncharacteristic for Zo to score 29 points. Zo's purpose on the Lakers is to be the general and control the game. Donavan's goal on Utah is just to score. Even saying that, Lonzo leads the Lakers in almost every category. Steals, Blocks, Rebounds, and Assist. Zo is the only rookie, outside of Ben Simmons, who is really a 2nd year player, to have 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.1 points, 1.5 steals, and 0.9 blocks. No other rookie, from his class, has those across the boards stats like Zo. Not Tatum, Not Donavan, Not Dennis Smith Jr, Not Josh Jackson, Not Fox, Not Fultz (who is the #1 pick). Zo is the best all around player in this draft and it's not even close. It's the reason he became the youngest player with a triple double and has skirted with triple doubles in almost every game. Zo has had 3 games of 5 steals, 2 games of 4 blocks. Donavan hasn't done anything like that. Zo has blocked Porzingiz, Embiid, Harden, Wall, Jordan, and many more. Low Iq bb fans only know about scoring but the game is more than that.
