Alright, alright, I see the vision. I feel like you could comfortably add normal, high, and low shots to the left right middle system, maybe toss in a little quick time event to try and fumble the ball back onto their side of the table if you miss one and aren't exhausted, costing you stamina and locking your controls until the ball is already flying back at you? Idk, there's room for a bunch more stuff if you just give it a little more wiggle room to work with than the whole three lanes thing.
I think you should add this comment as a review in the actual steam page of the game. This is just a gameplay video showcasing the bosses, you would get the developers attention better on the steam page or if they have an official discord or something
That was... certainly a thing? I mean, I kinda liked that, but I guess there could've been more improvement in the game. Also it kinda just threw you in, so
I think the game just needs some polish. It's really easy to be misled by the ball's trajectories so putting something to train you on that would've been helpful.
To add a tiny bit more depth to the game, I'd make it so that the stamina bar doesn't just refill all the way after every point. Maybe refill only a third or so, so that you have to weigh your options between throwing a losing point and recharging for the next or dragging it out until your opponent's exhausted. They already made it so that critical hits cost less stamina, and the opponents all seem to only be beatable by wearing them out.
@@EdenSnowled Now that you pointed that out, I would've been glad... if not for the fact that I just noticed in this video that you can STILL HIT THE BALL AFTER YOU'RE WORN OUT WHY IS THIS A THING WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING A STAMINA BAR IN THE FIRST PLACE THIS GAME IS SO UNINSPIRING I can see the vision. It's a simplified game of table tennis. Make Punch Out, but ping pong. Just like how Rose and Camellia is just Punch Out, but telenovela slapping. But you're pretty much just doing the same thing over and over again in this game and using twitch reflexes. Dummy balls. Curve shots. Serve feints. Multiple arenas. SPLIT THE TABLE IN HALF. There's so much that can be done for this game to make it more interesting, but I'm just not seeing it. I'll give credit for the drive shots, but that's it.
@@robertbernard7844Yeah - you can still hit at half the frames and move at half speed when exhausted. It's impossible to catch punished balls on any higher diff due to the movement slow. Feints and spins / curves do exist as well. It's a shame that the story doesn't showcase a lot of it, but the game gets very deep.

this is the first ping pong game where you can hit a black flash
Even Todo was late on ping pong blackflash dawg 😭🙏
Seems like an interesting idea but there doesn’t seem to be that much to it
Yeah, it needs different mechanics, specislly for the second fase of the bosses
Beat everyone in the tornament and reach the no. 1. Beat her. Win the tournament. Refused to elaborate and rides oun right in to a sun set.
