I live 20 mins from the park and probably haven't been there in 10+ years. I am going for Fright Fest this year. Thanks for the video... super helpful!
To anyone thinking about going here for fright fest- I HIGHLY suggest you don’t go on a Friday or Saturday night. We went last Saturday and the place was mobbed with drunk teenagers and tons of sketchy/shady guests. There was no security at any of coasters except for the ones that require you to put your belongings in a locker before entering - resulting in most of the younger crowds hopping the lines by shoving past people, jumping over the rails and saying they’re “looking for their friends”. The park was at maximum capacity and the wait time were close to an hour if not more for each ride, which of course was only made worse by the people jumping the lines in mobs in the dark. The overall clientele of people there was questionable and we did not feel safe. In terms of the wait times, it honestly reminded me of what this place used to be like during the summer back in 2008. I’ve visited this park dozens of times in the past 3-4 years and we never had to wait more than 30 minutes for a ride during any of those visits.
Thanks for the video! :D I have two questions: 1) Are the outdoor attractions only open from dark and are the indoor attractions open from 5pm? Is Blood Shed indoors or outdoors? How about The Lab? 2) I got printed Fright Fest tickets online. How do they scan your tickets at each attraction? Do they scan your barcode each time?
They do! However, they are very limited activities wise: you don't get full "Fright Fest". You only get the Scare Zones after dark and the Mazes if you do a Fright Pass. The Family stuff, many rides, many shopping locations, and the shows do not happen during "Power Hours" (which is Weds and Thurs, as well as the last week of Oct)
@@annafisher567 there were no scare actors the first night I went, so it really is for people who JUST want to ride hop on the big rides OR to see the Fright Pass Mazes for a slightly cheaper price ($14.99 in Sept, $19.99 in Oct. for select dates) However, there's also the possibility of them being added for October dates, so I will update you in the future when I go next week!
@@rrecherei9092 Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you can buy a Fright Pass on top of your Season Pass for around $19.99? This is when I checked the special Power Hour Dates.
@@apgrenus that's true, but it's worth it if you 1) go fairly often, as it pays for itself after two trips at full price (4 trips if you got individual day passes at their cheapest price $14.99 in September) 2) Consider it's only available to use for about a 6 week long period
