All of the layouts are of a superb quality. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
Brilliant train show
Train layouts look awesome
Some great layouts on show. Looks like a good local show
Captured it brilliantly Dave. Sadly I couldn't make the date, but ironically I'm in Cupar at the end of the month.
Good variation of layouts there Dave, I personally like the 70 s depot plus gresty bridge. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Dave. Some really great layouts, but for me the last one shown of the Caledonian Railway gets my vote. Cheers, Bob
Great video here Dave, great variety of shots of the various layouts, hope you had a great time.
I always enjoy these exhibition videos, so thanks for this one. It was interesting to see a couple of North American layouts in the mix, too. Cheers from Wisconsin!
Cheers. Glad you enjoyed it. :-)
For me Dave the two US layouts were running very short trains, a BR class 24 would have handle them. Eaglesham not a period that captures me (but very well modeled) not a criticisum, for me Tullock Bridge was the layout of the exibition they just need to replace some of the pipe cleaner trees!
Parsons Creek - actually the a a/b units had their allotted full set of carriages. On the freight when the train entered one tunnel it was coming out the other tunnel just as the last wagon was disappearing up the first tunnel, that works out fine for the layout size.
Really like Tulloch Bridge. My era and only having a 9X5 layout myself it’s great to see what can be achieved 👌
They’re all excellent, but as I’m an old fossil, I do love a steam layout. Eaglesham was my favourite.
Some great coverage you got there, I especially liked Gresty Bridge with the functioning gate 😂 Thanks for sharing 👍
That was a neat touch. Did you see the moving chain saw man?
@@DeanParkI can’t say I spotted that, is it the fella hanging off the tree?
Love the first layout, dave. I'm sure that was at the #DEMU showcase 2023. I do like the DRS Depot Gresty Bridge as well great footage Mr Watson thank you for sharing.
Cheers. I always enjoy filming at shows. I like to record things I see as it may come in handy when I’m looking for inspiration later.
Also, it allows more people to see the show!
Hi Dave 👍 I filmed Tulloch Bridge at the DEMU show in Sutton Coldfield Birmingham just over a month ago and found the layout very inspiring. For a small layout they had some interesting variation of train movements that made you want to wait to see what will be passing 18:58 through the station next. It was hard to walk away from.
Thanks for sharing

It was a good show. Lots of excellent layouts but I thought the St Andrews n gauge layout was the best.
Great footage Dave. I particularly liked the Scottish themed layouts and the Tulloch Bridge station building. I'm not usually a fan of led lighting (I find it a bit bright for my eyes - nothing against those who use them) but Gresty Bridge looked superb. Cheers
Was gonna try and make this on Saturday. I was in Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes but wife wasnt feeling great(or so she said) so headed home 😞
A couple of the guys from Shed47 were there on sat.
Hi Dave, what lighting did you use in dean park station , i am building a similar station. been at it for 3 years now...love all your videos... thanks Ken
Does your layout go on display?
