I'm so relieved this memorial event was handled with such respect and dignity. There were a few laughs but you can tell this was something that was needed for the public. I thank Kobe's wife for being so strong and letting this happen.

Kobe had such a big impact in basketball, sports, and the world. He was also a part of my childhood. I loved watching him play and rooting for the Lakers with my loved ones. He’s a legend and I only hope to achieve a fraction of what he had in my own life.
It is absolutely impressive to hear how much he was admired and looked up to by so any people for so many different things. I have never seen such a reaction worldwide over the passing of someone. He was an anomaly to say the least

This is killing me. My husband and I lost our baby son plus 2 pregnancies, having 5 living children. When my husband died suddenly at 45, devastating me, I had a dream he came to tell me all 3 were with him and I had to live to take care of our 5 living children, saying we're "still doing this together". Probably my own grieving brain, but it felt so real.
