This right here, is the holy grail, of everything that was and has been my 19 years of life. Pact into this one video is the culture that i lived through, summed up. This is everything. Because memes are based on things we like. We meme it because we enjoy it and it brings back good memories. Most of the time, certain phrases or lines of a song stick with us into our angsty teenage stage, where the majority of people enjoy memes. So we share that personal memory with others to connect with people. An easier way for people with anxieties or considered “weird” to connect with people than actually talking face to face. It’s a beautiful thing.

In my opinion, I think the mix is sort of based on the stages of getting over a relationship:
Act 1 is filled with Denial and Bargaining. You can't accept that the relationship is over and will do anything to get it back together, but eventually, you learn that you can't do anything to fix it.
Act 2 is the part after you've accepted the relationship is over. You outwardly seem normal, but when all of the emotions come together, its a big pile of confusion and anger. You're trying to justify why they would want to break up with you, but there's nothing wrong with you. Nothing seems to make sense and you're losing your damn mind (in the west).
But eventually, in Act 3, you realize that you have to change. You can't remain stagnant. Its the end of this world, but there's a new one if you just carry on. There are a good number of songs in Act 3 that have already appeared earlier in the mix. This time, you see them in a different way. If you learn to improve yourself, you can see the world in a whole new light.
This mix is just incredible in every way

Ok, these songs work WAY too well with each other. Make's me sad, happy, nostalgic and some other feelings I can't describe. This mashup is one of the best I've ever heard. The mix of Cruel Angel's Thesis & at Bodies at 6:30 is my absolute favourite bit of this.
