with the isildurr clip pavel was basically representing either q9 or the flush, but q9 would check raise on the turn and the flush would likely check the river after isildurr fired 2 streets on an akq board.

I can't think of the exact odds perhaps someone behind me will get more technical. But basically hes getting 4/1 on his money. He just has to flop good one out of 4 times to make it even or profitable if you count after flop chips.

Well, yeah. But even if losing he would have about the same chipstack as his opponent, so the risk is far less then Isildurs call.
Gotta look at the stack size though. Even if he loses hes still leading. Tough for sure but that makes it a lot easier.

For #2 you if you're bluffing never give your opponent that much time to think it out! I was screaming at my phone the whole time CLOCK!
Part of that is, calling the clock kind of shows that you don’t want your opponent to actually think about it out of fear that they might decide to call your bluff. So the high IQ play is to call. But the higher IQ play is to not call the clock so you portray a cool composer to your opponent like, “Take all the time in the world. I got you beat no matter what.” The even higher IQ play though, is to panic and call the clock to make your opponent think you’re bluffing when you have a hand you know you will win so they call thinking they read you like a book. But the silence kills them and adds a whole nother level of pressure. Also, the silence allows more time for them to get in their own heads and mess themselves up. In an attempt to come across as calm and confident, a lot of players don’t call the clock. And sometimes it even goes in their favor. In these few cases though, that did not work.

First one with Durr made sense for him to call. Antonius didn't play it right and the second Pavel didn't play it like an Ace nor would he have played like a JACK and lower.
