Maybe we are trying to speak superb as native speakers and we are feeling anxious when we try to talk in English due to this.

To succeed on those tests, I think being a skillful english speaker isn't the hardest part. Knowing how to express your thoughts and opinions clearly and smoothly whithout hesitations is much more difficult. It requires a lot of practise indeed!

As a person who has taken his IELTS( 6 years ago, Academic 7.5), I would say the hardest part was the writing session. It is not limited only to the correct spelling or the grammar, but also it is very important to use the right words as although, furthermore, moreover, however, albeit, hence, nevertheless at etc. They show deeper and profound understanding of the topic , wider knowledge of the language and ability to build your paragraphs within the essay and to link them. Good luck.

No, they merely demonstrate your ability to flaunt your supposedly "rich" but in actuality middle-school level vocabulary. Then you have the SAT, of course, a test that demands you to know vocabulary that no one ever uses. This pseudo-academic level of langauge is entirely useless in an English-speaking country, even at the academic level. These tests are a joke, but I guess still a necessary evil - how else would a university or other institution know that you are a capable speaker? They'd have to interview literally every candidate.

      Hi Dear,
I know that feeling when you can understand english well but not able speak it,so don't worry I came with an idea to make your english learning very less stressful. We all learned our native language through trying to speak it with people but when it comes to english we don't do that because we don't have people around us who we can practice english with, So that's why I am providing a facility where you can talk to me in english for hours everyday about any topic and meanwhile I'll be looking to correct your loose ends(including grammar) because no one has ever learned english without practicing it with someone and results have shown drastic changes in a month.
For information on plans and demo call, DM me.

I did the ILETS exam just few days ago and got band 7 in speaking without any prep. Honestly, I feel that preparing for speaking section makes me more stressed as I've to remember a specific answer to each question I'm asked .
yes there are some good tips and techniques you may follow but more importantly is to speak with and listen to Native or good speakers.
    so I would say :
1- get to know very well so many words , especially the ones used frequently .
2- Practice speaking constantly with and listening to a Native or at least to a relatively good speaker ( like to a band 8 person )
I think becoming a good English speaker takes a while so you really need to work on it and plan it well ahead of ILETs scheduled exam for at least 3-4 months if you want a good score

Congratulations on the great result! I'm glad to have been an aid in your success. On the website, you may have noticed the "testimonials" block near the bottom. Unlike many websites out there, we fill this section with real user testimonials and real pictures of those users. Because of your awesome score and feedback, we'd love to be able to use your first name/picture. If you could send us a picture of yourself (face, like the ones on the website), we would be greatly appreciative. Also, please include your nationality. If you are willing, please send this to admin@aehelp.com. This allows us to encourage other students to use our products and reach their goals and dreams. I look forward to getting your picture, nationality, and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

I got a 7 band in speaking IELTS, even though I was in trouble with the cue card( I got nervous and I couldn’t finish the whole questions, only answered 2) my teacher said this is because the examiner qualify over the whole performance, not only 1 section. I guess that my section 1 and 3 was good enough due to the use of some idiomatic expressions. I’m telling this for people who are nervous about their performance on ielts speaking, do not be nervous and try to see the examiner as a friend, that’s it :)

I don't know why so many people said that she doesn't deserve band 7 for this. I thought i was going to receive band 5 or worse in my speaking test because I was so nervous that I hesitated a lot. There were some questions that I didn't even know how to answer and in part 2, i didn't speak for the whole 2 minutes. However, I managed to use accurate grammar and a variety of vocabulary. I got 6.5 and it was really unexpected. All in all, I think the examiners score us on how correct we use English, if you could speak accurately and use a wide range of long sentences as well as vocabulary, it would be very easy to get band 7 to 7.5. And if you speak fluently, you may get band 8 or higher! Anw, that's just my opinion :)

Actually she deserves 7 points you know why because of her pronunciation and she doesn’t correct some words so she deserves and like you said a native speaker can get band 7-9 pretty easily but sometimes people from other countries get like 8,9 so it’s kind of idk base on your knowledge and pronunciation you get a better point everything started with practice even native speakers including me when I was young I have to practice how to make the “th” sound .

I myself have been an ielts teacher for years and have taken this test for times. This girl can easily get a 6.5 in speaking session. Pronunciation is clear but make frequent errors and self corrections, I might give her a 7; fluency is generally good but affected by self correction and hesitation for what to say next. 7 is what I think she can get; grammatical range and accuracy cannot live up to a 7 for sure, 6 is fair enough; as for lexical resources, well, she has enough vocabularies to have her ideas expressed, but occasional repetitions and misuse of some words may score a 7 (but dangerous, sometimes may get a 6). So overall, I think she can get a 6.5 with ease.

So ,judging by the comments here and by my experience, i can say that the best preparation is A LIVING SPEAKING, only during the some conversations you might be able to creat a right sentense by using a "native" phrases and expressions(my favourite are idioms, i advise you to add) . Before the IELTS, i had visited different meets, there were a variery of places, from TANDEM (orginised meets) to ask the tourists about time, teachers in my university were so busy in order to teach me , but i am thankful for it (i dont like quite old and traditional English, especially their accent was is a mixture of Russian prounouncation and half-English ) ) , dont worry, so all in your hands, but lucky is a integral part ) Break the leg !
(P.S My native language is Russian)

I dont think this is enough talk for band 7, actually i was more fluent than her, and i used more complicated and long sentences with different conjunctions and tenses . But i couldn't talk for whole one min. maybe it was the reason, i managed to speak more or less 40 seconds, question was stupid though:) anyway i got 6,5. if this helps to anyone..

aslı arı Hi Asli, remember that the score is not just based on fluency and conjunctions but also on the way that the response addresses the asked question. Keep up the good study.

We humans should probably switch back to sign language; at least life would've been much easier that way :')

And there would be the IELTS version for sign languages.. unfortunately, sign languages also differ for every verbal language...

I just got 7.0 in speaking section but I can't speak like her. When it comes to speaking, everyone has their own style. So I don't really think watching other people answer helps you improve your score, especially in part 1 and 2. You just need to get used to philosophical questions that are never talked about in everyday conversation but will be asked by your examiner in part 3, like "Do you think it's possible to measure people's value by their income?"

Rishabh Grover The key is; Let it flow.. You have to enjoy your conversation with the examiner, and "be yourself when you're talking". I passed this kind of test many many times, and i don't really care about my grammar. But in fact, because you don't really focusing on your grammar, you can talk even better.. You can surely get score 9 to 10 if you can keep your conversation going smoothly...

This happens often to students. This is when you must ground yourself and visualize what you want to say.
