Unfortunately i am the same as you. i have had experienced once a conversation with a foreign people and at the beginning i forgot the pronunciation most of words even the person i talked is not a native speaker too. Maybe we are trying to speak superb as native speakers and we are feeling anxious when we try to talk in English due to this.
I had my IELTS speaking test last May 2019. And I got 7.5 too, it was such a great experience!! My advice is, just relax and enjoy each question and you will never run out of words to say 😊 Good luck and God bless! You can do it!
To succeed on those tests, I think being a skillful english speaker isn't the hardest part. Knowing how to express your thoughts and opinions clearly and smoothly whithout hesitations is much more difficult. It requires a lot of practise indeed!
Yeah but many people think before they speak for quite some time because there's a lot going on in their heads. I do that and some people think I hesitate, which isn't true at all.
I’m not a native speaker but it’s my first language and the only language I know how to speak fluently. It’s annoying because I have to take this dogshit exam
Yes she may have forgotten to say “my” or “the” sometimes but she used many complex phrases and was overall quite grammatically accurate!! I am a native English speaker and taking my French speaking and if I spoke at the same level as her I would be very happy!
As a person who has taken his IELTS( 6 years ago, Academic 7.5), I would say the hardest part was the writing session. It is not limited only to the correct spelling or the grammar, but also it is very important to use the right words as although, furthermore, moreover, however, albeit, hence, nevertheless at etc. They show deeper and profound understanding of the topic , wider knowledge of the language and ability to build your paragraphs within the essay and to link them. Good luck.
No, they merely demonstrate your ability to flaunt your supposedly "rich" but in actuality middle-school level vocabulary. Then you have the SAT, of course, a test that demands you to know vocabulary that no one ever uses. This pseudo-academic level of langauge is entirely useless in an English-speaking country, even at the academic level. These tests are a joke, but I guess still a necessary evil - how else would a university or other institution know that you are a capable speaker? They'd have to interview literally every candidate.

I did the ILETS exam just few days ago and got band 7 in speaking without any prep. She managed the test great, rarely she had some hesitation moments and the used vocabulary wasn`t widely exposed, but overall she controlled the tests pretty well. I am preparing for IELTS these weeks and this video encourages me more as Score 7 for such a performance is extremely enough. Thank you guys for making this possible for everyone. Good luck to you all!
I got 7.5. Thanks for all the videos. Its easy if u can speak naturally forgetting you are facing an exam and make sure not to repeat the same words. Use rich vocabulary.
Speaking is the hardest one for me -_- . Idk why , i just get so nervous everytime i speak to the interview . Last time, i got 6/10 for my speaking test. I know that im not good at giving more explanation because i just being so honest
Great. It is good that you are encouraged. Do not forget, this speaker is Chinese - her style and diction are quite different from ESL speakers in Europe, South Central Asia or South America - but difference aside, her English is still quite good.
I got a 7 band in speaking IELTS, even though I was in trouble with the cue card( I got nervous and I couldn’t finish the whole questions, only answered 2) my teacher said this is because the examiner qualify over the whole performance, not only 1 section. I guess that my section 1 and 3 was good enough due to the use of some idiomatic expressions. I’m telling this for people who are nervous about their performance on ielts speaking, do not be nervous and try to see the examiner as a friend, that’s it :)
pronunciatin is godike level... im in love with her now... but vocabulary is simple. I think this is all you need to have a conversation on streets. Bravo!
It is enough. Considering how the questions are related to your everyday life. Some might get a slightly difficult question but last time i got something about an experience w a wise old person ive met. I literally made up a story w a degree of truth. But the key is to appear convincing hahahahhaaha
U can practice it. And i am sure you will improve it. Give yourself a topic like, what you would do if you find a pot of gold while digging your field or what you will do when someone asks for your help. We all practice this test in our class.
If with this speech she scored band 7, then I think my band is gonna be 8,5 or 9. She had lots of grammar mistakes, but, however keep on making us glad. Thanks a lot)
Nope, not all of them, i am not and her english is not that bad but the pronunciation is a bit robotic like she learnt before the interview what she should say
I'm not a native English speaker and I definitely speak better English than her and I can tell you for sure that her English isn't that good. She doesn't even have a good pronunciation(for me at least) and she's made some mistakes while speaking
Me too. we need to keep practicing than we can achieve our goals. it seems to me that your English quit good enough, I made conclusion thought your writing. good job.
I don't know why so many people said that she doesn't deserve band 7 for this. I thought i was going to receive band 5 or worse in my speaking test because I was so nervous that I hesitated a lot. There were some questions that I didn't even know how to answer and in part 2, i didn't speak for the whole 2 minutes. However, I managed to use accurate grammar and a variety of vocabulary. I got 6.5 and it was really unexpected. All in all, I think the examiners score us on how correct we use English, if you could speak accurately and use a wide range of long sentences as well as vocabulary, it would be very easy to get band 7 to 7.5. And if you speak fluently, you may get band 8 or higher! Anw, that's just my opinion :)
Actually she deserves 7 points you know why because of her pronunciation and she doesn’t correct some words so she deserves and like you said a native speaker can get band 7-9 pretty easily but sometimes people from other countries get like 8,9 so it’s kind of idk base on your knowledge and pronunciation you get a better point everything started with practice even native speakers including me when I was young I have to practice how to make the “th” sound .
I myself have been an ielts teacher for years and have taken this test for times. This girl can easily get a 6.5 in speaking session. Pronunciation is clear but make frequent errors and self corrections, I might give her a 7; fluency is generally good but affected by self correction and hesitation for what to say next. 7 is what I think she can get; grammatical range and accuracy cannot live up to a 7 for sure, 6 is fair enough; as for lexical resources, well, she has enough vocabularies to have her ideas expressed, but occasional repetitions and misuse of some words may score a 7 (but dangerous, sometimes may get a 6). So overall, I think she can get a 6.5 with ease.
It's not the real one and noone will get 7 for such speech, dont comfort yourself. ruclips.net/video/HQSfLNnzpRk/видео.html compare with this video, that guy had tough questions which he even answered to with rich vocabulary but got only 7.5
People need to understand that this is a business. It takes a lot of time and effort to make these videos. Some people's attitude in the comment section is- 1. It should be free 2. The exam should be free Do they also want the books, visa applications and flight tickets to the country free as well? It's really childish that people are getting upset over money and expressing anger at these guys who are doing a wonderful job.
So ,judging by the comments here and by my experience, i can say that the best preparation is A LIVING SPEAKING, only during the some conversations you might be able to creat a right sentense by using a "native" phrases and expressions(my favourite are idioms, i advise you to add) . Before the IELTS, i had visited different meets, there were a variery of places, from TANDEM (orginised meets) to ask the tourists about time, teachers in my university were so busy in order to teach me , but i am thankful for it (i dont like quite old and traditional English, especially their accent was is a mixture of Russian prounouncation and half-English ) ) , dont worry, so all in your hands, but lucky is a integral part ) Break the leg ! (P.S My native language is Russian)
well, I’m a Chinese and I took IELTS last month, got 8.0. 9.0 in both listening and reading, 7.0 in speaking and 6.5 in writing. This is the best I can do...TY
My reply for those of you who think that this video should be available full for me is that you’ve got to think that they have spent their money, sacrifice their time to make these kinds of the video so that Individuals would be familiar with the IELTS speaking section situation in real exam, without any doubt, they deserve this money back and how we do that is by purchasing the full course of him as not only you will be benefited from these types of interviews but also other strategies and tips which will of course be useful for your coming exam. I personally have bought this course and courage you also to buy this full course as it is extremely useful and I am not regret of my money it has been spent in a right way.
Thank you for uploading a different band score of ielts speaking test, it really helps me for a self review to assist myself how far is my ielts capabilities
What are you doing to prepare? I think you should refocuse your efforts on learning english without sitting for hours and hours in order to learn phrases and instead try to meet english speakers.
you should have learnt how to walk before you decide to run mate XD learning a language is never about taking an exam or a job interview, it's a pivotal part of humanity and you should understand that as communication is without doubt a touch stone for the world that we're living in
@Just a mental fellow no I dont cause by reading that passage stating your thoughts on the examination methods and topics themselves, it's clear to me that you sir deserves a much better score than what you have received☹ Honestly, I'm also unsure of how scores are given or what criteria our performance are judged on but there's one thing that I'm kinda sure which is that results are given based on the opinion of the examiner him or herself
@Just a mental fellow Well let's say it this way, I'm currently living in Hong Kong and it's beyond a shadow of doubt that our compulsory exam which is the DSE requires us to use more prestigious or complicated words you might say for our writing exams and on the other hand IELTS places its concerns on mainly the daily usage of the language itself I mean let's be honest, there's no way that they're going to be stepping into any type of philosophical topics, or sth like that
Shravya Ramesh I’m sorry dude but I’m too old to care about exams anymore I’m just trying to get my paycheck and work towards that weekend so I can spend time with my friends and loved ones.

I'm from Russia. We have english exam in ninth form. It is rather similar. We also have different parts of our exam like speaking, reading, writing and etc. I'm so excited! У меня ОГЭ по англу так же проходило) Ничего сложного, я даже удивилась.
I'm want preparing for immigrate to Canada, I'm thinking that my English is cool , but not so much , I knew this Chanel today and them I'll be make a marathon to watching all videos , thanks so much for this
Her English is good. Could you speak that eloquently in Spanish? I was shocked when she answered the work to live or live to work question. I would’ve been so confused.
3:27 even this IELTS teaching channel was wrong between to and too.🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ and these videos are scripted not the ielts speaking tests. Noticed how she was answering like she memorized them.🤦🏻♂️
What impressed me while listening to her responses is that, although she makes a lot of grammatical errors, her pronunciation is quite good and she has a large enough vocabulary and enough fluency, which makes it quite easy to understand what she means. I think this is far better than getting stuck because you are too nervous about making grammatical mistakes. (I know that probably she had memorized her answers because this is a demonstration, not an actual exam.)
Somehow they like to include questions about art. I would have to come up with something completely random to survive through this. I am technical guy and absolutely not interested in art, but used to answer those art questions all the time during exams.

if IELTS exams are so easy... i'll take it tomorrow... BINGO!!! ...............p.s... ... i'm really interested in ... if all examiner speaks slowly like him...
i think i can be confident enough after seeing this, my ability of speaking english i think not far from her. But she is so confident and relax when answering the question. i hope i can get at least 6.5 for the speaking test
glad to be back here after doing my first ielts test. I get 7 for the speaking test it is the best one from my other grades. thank you for helping me giving me the courage to speak english well. it was so surprising though, I need to get my listening reading and writting skill better andfor speaking test i will try to reach at least solid 8
Why there are so many negative comments about her score? Is it because she is asian? I have seen many band 7 speaking test sample videos but with South americans or Europeans and they spoke just the same way she did and no one was complaining!!
hey don't be butthurt ok ? i am a Chinese an asian . actually i don't think her speaking should be 7. cuz it sounds so unnatural . And give me feeling she prepared it .
I think that ability to link the sentences and your thoughts is good way to pass the exam.Additionally, speaking without a hesitation is necessary skill which I have to focus on.
If she got a 7 considering the errors in her English then I'm sure as hell I could ace my ielts with a score of 9 equipped with my English language study experience which lasted a period of about 14 years. 5th Nov 2015.
+derek dsemre Hi Derek, excellent confidence. I am sure you can get a great score with 15yrs English experience behind you. All the best on your exam from the team at www.aehelp.com

AcademicEnglishHelp haha yes you guessed right I got an 8. In spite of the fact that I was confident i got a tad bit nervous during the speaking. The overall score band was a 7.5 though :(
I dont think this is enough talk for band 7, actually i was more fluent than her, and i used more complicated and long sentences with different conjunctions and tenses . But i couldn't talk for whole one min. maybe it was the reason, i managed to speak more or less 40 seconds, question was stupid though:) anyway i got 6,5. if this helps to anyone..

And there would be the IELTS version for sign languages.. unfortunately, sign languages also differ for every verbal language... It would be better for us to evolve and converse with telepathy.. but.. is it possible that telepathy will be universal globally..?
I just got 7.0 in speaking section but I can't speak like her. When it comes to speaking, everyone has their own style. So I don't really think watching other people answer helps you improve your score, especially in part 1 and 2. You just need to get used to philosophical questions that are never talked about in everyday conversation but will be asked by your examiner in part 3, like "Do you think it's possible to measure people's value by their income?"
Rishabh Grover The key is; Let it flow.. You have to enjoy your conversation with the examiner, and "be yourself when you're talking". I passed this kind of test many many times, and i don't really care about my grammar. But in fact, because you don't really focusing on your grammar, you can talk even better.. You can surely get score 9 to 10 if you can keep your conversation going smoothly...
Yes I totally agree as a native English speaker, the more I learn about grammar and punctuation the more confused I get about how things should be worded and written
part 2 really depends on the chance! as a cold soul engineer, I've never enjoyed Art! so if these questions were asked from me I had to lie intensely which is a difficult thing to do!
Oh my god. I’ve just realized I lost my English. Last time, I watched this video, I came up some good idea in English and I was able to practice talking but now, I just watch and think she is amazing. Ohhh I don’t know what to do.

how can someone get 7 to 7.5 with this type of english..,after seeing this video i am highly motivated..thank u very much..:D
Great. It is good that you are encouraged. Do not forget, this speaker is Chinese - her style and diction are quite different from ESL speakers in Europe, South Central Asia or South America - but difference aside, her English is still quite good.
AcademicEnglishHelp i am an asian too but i dont think making so many grammatical mistakes can lead us to 7 score...i am just curious nothing more
She would get anywhere from 6.5 to 7.5 for this performance. You can find out much more about why when you learn with us at www.aehelp.com
+Xyteez Khadka She will easily score 7 in IELTS Speaking.
@Romi buzz try on with this way and see if u can score or not
I got a 7 band in speaking IELTS, even though I was in trouble with the cue card( I got nervous and I couldn’t finish the whole questions, only answered 2) my teacher said this is because the examiner qualify over the whole performance, not only 1 section. I guess that my section 1 and 3 was good enough due to the use of some idiomatic expressions. I’m telling this for people who are nervous about their performance on ielts speaking, do not be nervous and try to see the examiner as a friend, that’s it :)
Don't worry about the examiner much, just focus on your goal - to get a high band score. www.aehelp.com
Hello beautiful how are you doing today, hope you are okay. Hope you are enjoying the weather over there?
I find most students speak alike because they are prepared for series of similar questions.Haha, this is what we call ...The advent of a robot age.

pronunciatin is godike level... im in love with her now... but vocabulary is simple. I think this is all you need to have a conversation on streets. Bravo!
Reservoir Channel As a native, I can tell you it is far from “godlike”. However, she can definitely get by conversationally.
The pronunciation is not godlike, it's very obviously non-native
Er... NOPE.

I can't speak English as well as her and I can't believe that so many people said her English is not good.....
Parkar766 i think most of those people's first language is english
they are native English speakers ...
mywonderfulblog123456788.blogspot.com/
Nope, not all of them, i am not and her english is not that bad but the pronunciation is a bit robotic like she learnt before the interview what she should say
I'm not a native English speaker and I definitely speak better English than her and I can tell you for sure that her English isn't that good. She doesn't even have a good pronunciation(for me at least) and she's made some mistakes while speaking
on this kind of language test i always have to make a choice if i'll answer honestly or tell anything that my fav movie star would do
She speaks English with fluency, especially part2. I want to be a good English speaker as well as her.
From Japan.
Me too. we need to keep practicing than we can achieve our goals. it seems to me that your English quit good enough, I made conclusion thought your writing.

Vy Dang wow amazing that you got 6.5! And what about the other exams like writing?
You? oh my gosh, you are not deserved. 😐
Web Morris oh shut up kid
I'm going to sit an ielts exam after 2 weeks, and this video gives me confidence
I had one today, good luck to you
It's not the real one and noone will get 7 for such speech, dont comfort yourself. ruclips.net/video/HQSfLNnzpRk/видео.html compare with this video, that guy had tough questions which he even answered to with rich vocabulary but got only 7.5
People need to understand that this is a business. It takes a lot of time and effort to make these videos. Some people's attitude in the comment section is-
1. It should be free
2. The exam should be free
Do they also want the books, visa applications and flight tickets to the country free as well? It's really childish that people are getting upset over money and expressing anger at these guys who are doing a wonderful job.
I'm a native English speaker, just watching out of curiosity, this reminded me of my GCSE Spanish speaking exam, just way harder
!!!
Omg that man speaks so fluently

@Just a mental fellow no I dont cause by reading that passage stating your thoughts on the examination methods and topics themselves, it's clear to me that you sir deserves a much better score than what you have received☹ Honestly, I'm also unsure of how scores are given or what criteria our performance are judged on but there's one thing that I'm kinda sure which is that results are given based on the opinion of the examiner him or herself
@Just a mental fellow Well let's say it this way, I'm currently living in Hong Kong and it's beyond a shadow of doubt that our compulsory exam which is the DSE requires us to use more prestigious or complicated words you might say for our writing exams and on the other hand IELTS places its concerns on mainly the daily usage of the language itself I mean let's be honest, there's no way that they're going to be stepping into any type of philosophical topics, or sth like that

she seems to have memorized the speech? correct?
What impressed me while listening to her responses is that, although she makes a lot of grammatical errors, her pronunciation is quite good and she has a large enough vocabulary and enough fluency, which makes it quite easy to understand what she means. I think this is far better than getting stuck because you are too nervous about making grammatical mistakes. (I know that probably she had memorized her answers because this is a demonstration, not an actual exam.)

She actually a beauty . Now i'm inspired to watch video like this .

10 in IELTS? haha
