I think the setamated MPH on the Z125 is overrated. Mine would only do 58. I spent way too much 💰to get it to go 68mph. I don't regret riding the Z125 as my first street bike but I do regret blowing probably $1600 on making it faster. It was a good idea to get experience on the road with the z125 you learn the biker way as I call it and then decide if you can handle a big bike. Now I ride the Z400 😁

Ebikes and electric motorcycles are the way to go and they are getting more capable year after year. However, according to US DOT any vehicle that has a top speed of 20+ mph must be registered and any vehicle that has a top speed of 28 mph not only it must be registered, but it also must be insured and the rider must have a motorcycle endorsement on his driver's license. Ebikes that look like motorcycles with no pedals will definitely get the cops attention. But, if you have an ebike with pedals that has a top speed of 28 mph+ as long as you keep riding it at 20 mph or less there is a chance that cops won't stop you, because, class 2 and class 3 ebikes look alike and they assume you're riding a class 2 ebike which DOT treats them like bicycles, no registration, no insurance, and no motorcycle endorsement required. Cops are starting to pay more attention to ebikes now.
Love my Benelli TNT135, and it's fun to just put-put it around the neighborhood and town. Put a KSR110 front fender on it, and it will look like a supermoto.
You expect me to believe you actually charge that bike up with a solar generator every time you charge it? Why would you do that? Electricity is freaking cheap.
Probably cost double what a lifetime worth of charges would cost just plugging it in the wall. But if u need a portable off grid deal....I guess u need that setup
Listen to me if you were looking for a beginner bike when your first motorcycle a Honda Grom is not what you need a Honda Grom will not teach you anything. Honda groms are not beginner motorcycles they are more for the experienced to mess around do wheelies practice stunts. Etc etc. Learn on a Honda Grom and then jump on a 600 or a naked bike and you will see what I'm talkin about you will have no throttle control and he will not be able to control the bike that is a bad idea
1800$ msrp. You gotta add dealer fees,shipping fee,assembly fee, state tax, license and plates. Ends up closer to 3k. I'd love to have a trail 125. My wife rides a Benelli tnt135. 70mph maybe downhill with the wind at your back and you weigh 100lbs.
You can get them used for a good price though, I saw one on the Marketplace in my area for $1700 and only 330 miles and still looked brand new. I gardentee a lot of these will continue to hit the used market since people will be wanting to upgrade to bigger faster bikes

2 hours and 30 minutes by Grom to get to Jacksonville, bigger bike on freeway for 1 hour 30, it's like I wish these freaking things could morph into big fat seat Goldwing or Harley for freeway and tiny little thing when you get there.

How about the KTM 200 Duke
KTM Duke 200 is $3,999 and with dimension of a real bike and lots of goodies. For me, I'd get a Navi or a Duke.
Love my Navi for making food deliveries. So cheap on gas and the automatic transmission is great for having more focus on the road.
But still not so practical for grocery shopping as scooters with walk-through legroom.
