Yeah the framing and cinematography was excellent, it was a great parallel to the raid on the braithewaites, a juxtaposition between the gang at it's height in the game & now at it's lowest before it crumbles Those two scenes both gave me the chills Although I do think the scene with the nun where he faces his death is the most emotionally profound But these two are the most badass and intense for sure
This one was just filled with raw energy out of the West. Song sold it hard (entitled "My Last Son"). You know at this point that this might be Arthur's last ride, but you're fighting as much for his soul as anything else at this point. Overall loved the game, fantastic experience.
Darron Lockett aye. I agree one hundred percent. We all know that Arthur's last ride was after he saved Abigail, as he was riding back to camp, before the mission Red Dead Redemption, which was accompanied by the song Thats the way it is. In my opinion that part was even more sad than his death
Odin Satanas In my opinion he most badass and intense was the standoff with Micah and Dutch while you are playing as John. I can’t tell you how angry, nervous, sad, and excited I was when Dutch and John took Micah out. But yes these two scenes you mentioned are my other favorites
The worst is that when Dutch finds the bonds, and calls Arthur over all excited, you can see Arthur’s face light up and his eyes shine, for a very VERY brief moment, it felt like old times, only for Dutch to run away, this story is a masterpiece
This right here is IMO one of the best defining moments of Arthur’s character, instead of fighting for money or power, he’s fighting to help an oppressed group of people rise up against their abusers.
Sérgio Canali A soundtrack so good, yet the official release of the score is missing this song among many others. It’s got all the story beat songs and a few unreleased songs, but where is all the background and battle music? Where are the ambient tracks? I don’t want to sound like a jerk because we got 22 songs plus 13 more from various artists, but I was hoping for more.
Lateralusguy That’s still not on the official release of the soundtrack, but I will listen to these. There’s one song I’ve been looking for that plays when enemies are near in the Roanoke area.
Although people criticize the actor who voiced rains fall for not showing emotion I think rockstar did it well. Rains Fall is old and like he said he spend his whole life trying to bring peace and in the time frame he seen TOO MANY people he cared for die follishly. At this point in the timeline he is just hopeless and tired of all the things that have happened and he no longer is able to display emotion as many consider him dead spiritually.
Dank Spank Acevedo i feel thats a load of bullshit. Rains Fall was voiced by an authentic native american Graham Greene who was also in Dances With Wolves. Just imagine when Arthur went to confront Dutch and Micah, that everyone that rode with him into battle here were standing behind him during the confrontation.
